Cold night on my tod in Barry so chose this place as ir was only 400 metres from the hotel. Poppadum and yogurt whilst I looked at the menu. Tried the Shahi Noor starter ( Onion bhaji, chicken koi and meat samosa). This was really tasty and an excellent precursor to the mains - Chicken Murgi Massala with pilau rice and Aloo Saag bhaji. The chicken was moist and in decent sized chunks, the sauce was spicy and succulent, but it was the addition of the Aloo Saag that really enhanced the dish. Washed down with a large bottle of Kingfisher it was fabulous - highly recommended.
Went here on Monday 21st Aug whilst visiting relatives in Barry and had a lovely meal everything was perfect would recommend and definitely return

Has always been a good restaurant, but the addition of beef dishes and sharing platters has made it fantastic. 2 adults and a child, 3 courses with drinks for £55 is great value. 3 very stuffed and happy customers, and I have a "doggy bag", so tomorrow's lunch is sorted too

I have just been for a curry with my wife, and I can highly recommend his place. Staff were very friendly and attentive. We had starters and mains, and the food was well prepared and cooked to perfection. Would definitely eat here again. Highly recommended.

Excellent restaurant with great service and delicious food. The owners are very friendly and welcoming. The prices are very good compared to other restaurants nearby. They are even open late on a Sunday night when everywhere else is closed. I would definitely recommend to others.

Friendly welcome and good service. Food was delicious and came to table hot. My only negative, my experience of Chicken Makhani is a mild spicy, complex rich creamy coconut / almond curry - the Makhani here was quite bland, not spiced / creamy with pungent turmeric type of vibe. Good pricing. Would recommend the restaurant but not the makhani.
Highly recommend the Chicken Tikka Jalfrezi. Myself and my family all enjoyed a wonderful meal.
This place is great the staff are always polite well dressed and well mannered they always ask if your food is ok and as I loved the mint sauce they gave me extra the place is well clean and cutlery always clean to as that the first I check when i go for food any where took my to children with me and they loved it all thank you to all the staff your brilliant will see you again

Best balti I’ve ever had, honestly - it was so tasty!!
Wasn’t too pricey either.
We had 2x Cobra, 2x rosé wine, 3x poppadom, chicken pakora, sheekh kebab, chicken tikka balti, pilau rice, peshwari naan and some chips and it was £43.45!
Would definitely come back next time we’re in the area.
Have been going to the Shahi Noor for over 20 years and the food has always been great. I have my favourite dish and it tastes just as good every time. Restaurant owners are great guys and will always look after you. Many thanks

Visited last night absolutely wonderful! Food was delicious the staff were excellent tables was spaced out so we felt safe. Had the Indian mango ice cream it was heavenly will certainly have that on the next visit. Well done to you all for giving us a wonderful evening.
