So pleased with costal coffee today. Lovely friendly atmosphere as soon as you walk in. Brilliant priced! I orderd two meal deals and both of my children don't eat sandwiches so they gave the kids jam on toast which they were thrilled with. 2 crisps 2 drinks 2 bubbles 2 raisens and 1 ice cream and 1 ginger man all for 8 pounds!!! They even let me swap an ice cream for a gingerbread man as my son is allergic to milk.
I had cheese and beans jacket Potatoe meal. Deal came with crisps and a large drink for five pound something
Overall I paid 13 pound something for all above!! Defo be going again!!!

A very nice place to have a coffee, eat and chat, always a warm welcome from the friendly and helpful staff. An excellent menu with lovely choices of food to choose from. I will definitely be visiting again.

Had a lovely stroll along the seafront yesterday, then found this little gem. Our daughter really got stuck into her rocky road ice cream, which was almost bigger than her head Haha! We all enjoyed our treats and will definitely be calling again. Thank you for your friendly service .

Visited Barry Island for a family event for the weekend. Popped in this little beauty for a coffee and some food with the whole family. Great atmosphere, lovely hot drinks, and the staff were fabulous. There was a large group of us, and nothing was too much bother. Thank you for being accommodating and providing a great service. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Barry.

Very generous people. 2x jacket potatoes, as well crisps and soft drinks included in the deal. Very cheap, like 20 years ago. Everything tasty, freshly made.
Great little place to eat, and the prices are very good! Eating here is a much better option than the overpriced fish & chip shops, and healthier too. And the tuna melt panini was the best I have had for years, and made the correct way too. It's called a tuna melt for a very good reason, which so many places fail to understand. But here they know exactly how to make one, and it was quite cheap too! Definitely recommend stopping here.
Great food at great prices! Large tables were able to accommodate 7 of us, including a pushchair! Friendly staff, quick to bring food and drink over! Well deserving of the £5 tip left! Don't bother ordering a large Americano...the regular was HUGE 😂 overall, good home cooked food for great prices!
Nice little coffee shop not far from the beach. At £1.80 for an Americano quite reasonably priced. Food on offer but didn't try any. Again decent prices. Outside area for the sunny days.

This coffee shop is what it says on the tin, a place that does good coffee.
Infact it was voted best coffee shop in Barry and I can see why.
The Americano I had was nice and also very reasonably priced l, hows that even a few hundred metres away form the beach front makes a difference.
Staff were very friendly and made me feel welcome.
I will certainly be returning when I'm next in Barry.
Me and my boyfriend fancied something quick to eat and a coffee to warm us up on a cold day.
We have now found a hidden gem! The best coffee ive tasted in a while-and i drink alot!! (i told the waitress on the way out) but i didnt give the food credit either. We both thoroughly enjoyed everything. The best food weve had out for a while, no complaints at all from my fussy boyfriend. Simple and wasnt complicated. We enjoyed every mouthful. Everyone was lovely and friendly and the service was quick. Such a lovely, warm atmosphere. You could tell it was all made with love. Thank you. Our new stop when were down barry :)

Handled rude customers brilliantly! A real treasure to Barry Island.
I decided when passing to pop in for a coffee. The inside was warm and nicely decorated followed by very friendly and helpful staff (It's always nice to walk into an establishment and see the staff enjoying themselves and providing a happy atmosphere for the public).
Prices were so cheap I couldn't believe it considering the average coffee in most places is over £3-£4. I mean £2.10 for a latte? And a biscuit!!!

which was even more surprising because most places with these prices really represent that, not coastal coffee.
They handled two rude customers very professionally and to the best of their abilities. These two woman were complaining they couldn't have their dogs in the shop (the shop is not dog friendly, which makes sense in my eyes especially when serving food as its unhygienic).
The staff explained that if the customers had card showing that they were support dogs they could allow them to remain the shop... Instead the staff received a very nasty and vicious excuse (along with other remarks and gestures) "I've left the card at home"
After the customers shouting horrendous abuse at the staff they eventually left.
*It would only be illegal if staff refused to allow the dogs in when the customers have a badge on display*
To the owner of coastal coffee, your staff are a treasure and handled the situation tremendously!
I will be returning here as I also noticed the variety of food options available all for (you guessed it) an affordable cost!
