I ate on a Monday night which was busier than I was expecting. I ordered simple lasagna. I wanted a side salad but they only had main-course size so I skipped it.
When the food came up I was given a complementary slice of garlic bread which was a nice touch. Both were tasty and quite filling.

Amazing food and really friendly staff. Was recommended the steak by the staff member and wasn’t disappointed. Cooked perfectly which is a rare.

What a stunning little authentic Italian restaurant I managed to enjoy whilst up in Barrow-in-Furness.
Just in the main town center - Mario's despite being a small cash only restaurant. It was a delightful experience with lovely staff, cute rustic decor and super delicious food.

We called in on the off chance of a table for 2 on a Tuesday evening. The place was busy which is always a good sign. We had meatballs to start in tomato sauce, these were big and amazing. 2 penne pasta dishes and cheesy garlic bread. Glass of wine and a beer. It was so good and the staff are excel
Very welcoming and extremely friendly staff, great food and lovely atmosphere!
We ordered from the special board and the portions were huge for the price we paid...also, our little one had a pizza which was delicious!

Went with my partner on a Saturday evening, didn't book but had availability. Great tasting food and plentiful. Friendly staff and lovely atmosphere. Will be going again.
Amazing food and lovely staff. They made use a lovely heart shaped garlic bread and a heart shaped pizza. I had a lovely meat feast pizza. They had lovely valentines day decorations out from chocolate roses and hearts on the table to a grass teapot with a heart and some flowers in.
Excellent place to have Italian food. Its a quaint little place owned by lovely couple, names after their eldest son Mario.
The food is sumptous, and service is warm.
We loved the experience and food equally.
Wow. The decor, service and atmosphere all added to the splendid food. It was our first visit. I was even shown up stairs to see a splendid party room that would fit many a company celebration.
