Another fabulous meal from The Ship Inn. Six of us went for our monthly meal and it was delicious. The staff are friendly with a wonderful sense of humour. Thank you all for another brilliant evening 😁
Had a lovely surf & turf tonight. Fab steak and scampi. Would highly recommend a visit to this pub/restaurant with great service, good quality ingredients and excellent value for money. Well done everyone, will definitely return ���

Lovely meal had the garlic mushrooms for starters. Lovely and tasty. For main had belly pork with black pudding. Cabbage. And crushed new potatoes really tasty. For afters gingerbread sponge with ice cream. Service as always is exceptional will return.
We went to the ship last night for my mam and dads 45 th wedding anniversary there was 25 adults and 2 children plus babies in Prams they couldn't do enough for us food was fab and the service was great would really recommend it we will be going back xx
We are are family of five and came here for a meal on Saturday evening. All of us really enjoyed our meals and the staff were very nice. We have been a few times now and enjoyed our meals each time

Just had a lovely meal this evening. Salt and Pepper Chicken and Chips was delicious!! Other two guests enjoyed the Burger (big stack) and the Korma. Staff polite and efficient. Will definitely be returning and will spread the word �

We had a family meal here last night, the food was exceptional and the strawberry cheesecake was to die for. It wasn't expensive either. Fantastic, friendly service. I'll definitely be back.
Good lunch only marred by the fact it was almost empty so no atmosphere and it was cold in there. We will be back though.

Had delicious meals here after a big day out galavanting. Loved this old english pub. Staff were very friendly and atmosphere was cosy.
Shown to our table, member of staff was polite when taking the order, food was served lovely and hot and all staff were polite and helpful.
We had a very nice dinner here after a long drive and felt very welcome, just the perfect start to our holidays in this amazing part of the world.
Food was really good and all dietary needs met perfectly.

Best place around locally for a roast at the minute. Been twice lately and both times have been superb. The meat is cooked to my liking and the chocolate cake dessert is insanely moreish. Great service and super quick.

Really enjoyed the welcoming staff and friendly atmosphere Food really good, tastes great and piping hot. Looks to be well attended on the evening we attended. Atmosphere could have been slightly improved with a bit of background music, this is just a preference to myself

cooked medium and it came medium as did all my friends come cooked as they asked.
Staff were friendly.
We had the garlic flat bread and halloumi fries, followed by the tower burger, Cajun chicken and cheesecake. All tasty, hot, and good portion sizes.
The only downside is the furniture is quite worn and it was very stuffy inside.

Just had our Beef Roast dinner from The Ship Inn (also offered other meat options) and it was absolutely divine! Everything was cooked to perfection and the Beef was just... 🤤👌

After I nice long hike this was a lovely place to sit and relax. Food was great and we were made to feel very comfortable by the staff there. Will definitely be going again
The salt and pepper chips were stunning, cosy place, small car park and gives an independent local feel. Always great to visit (pictured is the fajitas and then cajun chicken with salt and pepper chips)
