Our wedding there was out of this world. They couldn’t do enough for us. Our day was seamless. Everyone commented on how wonderful everything was and how beautiful the place looked. Yasmin and John were outstanding from start to finish and our vision for our wedding was more than we could have imagined. Cameron, Faye and the team were all fabulous and the guests said it was the best wedding they have ever been to. I can not recommend them enough.

Had our wedding here on New Years Day, 2018, We would give it 10 stars if we could. Absolutely amazing place and service . From the day we booked the wedding on our first visit here with manager John until the day after the wedding the whole staff from house keeping to management make you feel like you are the only wedding that matters, they cannot do enough to make you feel special. Attention to detail is everything, the staff do everything for you , you can honestly just turn up and they make sure the day runs smoothly without you having to stress over anything . All our guests were as wowed by the place as we are, everyone one of them commented on how special the venue was and how good the staff were. We would highly recommend Abbey House to anyone looking for that special out of this world wedding venue . Abbey House will always hold a special place in our hearts for the way they made our wedding so special

I attended my cousins wedding at Abbey House on 1st January 2018. And what an amazing place to hold a wedding and reception. The first thing to strike you when first walking through the door was the friendly warm welcome of a tastefully furnished reception and bar/tearoom and the rest just got better. The ceremony room was serene and the ceremony informal and really lovely. The same room later hosted the wedding reception meal and once again the tables were set out and decorated beautifully and this is when I was most impressed. the presentation of our food was impressive but everything we ate was perfect cooked and tasted divine I would give the food in this place 11 out of 10. we continued to have a fabulous evening celebrating and had a lovely buffet and at the end of the night we retired to an absolutely fabulous comfortable bedroom with a very modern bathroom and after a good nights sleep we had breakfast which once again was cooked to perfection. I would definitely stay here again, I was really impressed with everything, food/ staff/ rooms/ general hospitality 10 out of 10

Cute wee coffee shop next to the ruins of the Abbey. My husband and I went there in April. We were delighted that it was dog friendly! 🐕 we had coffees, a tuns melt sandwich and a salted caramel cake. The coffee and sandwich were nice but the salted caramel cake was really delicious. The cafe is in a nice spot beside the Abbey and there is plenty of green space around for walking your dog. We would definitely visit again :)

We had the best time here, the afternoon tea is not a light snack and well worth the money. The bacon my son commented was 'the best he'd had in ages' The lady serving showed my daughter to the toilets around the back of the cafe while we had our hands full. We couldn't have asked for better service and to top it all of they do a decent coffee!

Took my mum for afternoon tea. Really lovely. Good selection of cakes and sandwiches. Would have liked to have seen a little more variety in sandwiches as the cheese ones were a little dry but to be fair it was really nice. Thank you 💜

Lovely and quaint little place that was a perfect stop for coffee and a cake while I was on my walk past the Abbey. I sat comfortably and and quietly while others were enjoying each others company in the outdoor seating. Perfect little addition to my day.

Let's say it's not bad at all but there is still something to improve. However this place saved me during long march in cold day. Big and tasty scones, decent prices! Thank u for welcoming approach.

When I visited covid restrictions were still in place, all customers had to eat outside although nationwide all other food outlets allowed customers to dine in. Service was great but choice was limited in my opinion. My husband called day before visit to enquire about afternoon tea, they said they did it. The day later we arrived and asked for afternoon tea only to be told that they only do by pre order this was not mentioned on the phone the day before
