Absolutely amazing!!! We've never been before but we will definitely be going back with all the family, the staff were so friendly they couldn't do enough for us they even fed and cuddled our new born baby so my husband and I could eat together it was our 1st time going out for something to eat after having him! The food was lovely really tasty and very reasonably priced too! They had plenty to keep our 4 & 3 year old amused too with a toy chest in the family room 10/10 well done guys you definitely went the extra mile

We had another visit today (26/10/23). It’s good that the pub has reopened with a new very friendly landlord. The menu is quite small but the food and drinks were good. Well worth a visit Previous visit spring 2023 We visited on a Thursday lunch time to find new owners who had recently taken over the pub. Both were very friendly. It’s a small menu with a few specials but the food is good and most is either gluten free or low gluten. The lamb cutlets were delicious as were the home made puddings. It’s not far from Bristol, in a good place for interesting walks and has ample parking.

A fabulous welcome from this Irish owned and run lovely old fashioned pub, couldn’t ask for more Tom so great advise on trip to Dublin, and staff what a great little place on the way to Bristol airport. Calamari and the chicken curry great. But toms steak looked delicious. Thanks from Jacque and Steve that are off to Dublin.

First time there in a long while. Not currently a real ale paradise, with only one ale (Butcombe Original) available but drawn from the barrel and in good condition. Quaint old fashioned set up and has recently acquired a reputation for its Spanish-style menu. Aromas from the kitchen certainly were delicious. I look forward to taking our family there soon.

Family friendly, super welcoming pub under new management. Very considerate and attention to detail to gluten free food. Nice Sunday roast, very good catering for kids and lovely cauliflower cheese. It was too cold to sit outside but the terrace looked great.

Great pub with a good selection of ales and really nice food at very affordable prices. The outside seating areas are what really makes the place though. You can sit in the garden with various gazebos, under the covered area with comfy sofas, blankets and woodburner or in the completely enclosed and glassed roof area. Whatever the weather you are catered for. They also have a lovely little village shop which sells the daily essentials plus coffees and a selection of locally made pastries (I can recommend the almond croissants) as well as locally produced, beautiful charcuterie. Super staff, great ambience and food. What more could you want from a pub? Highly recommended.
