We went here recently for the kids Halloween party which was fantastic! A really well arranged event and all the kids had a great time! So to the girl that arranged it, well done! We don't visit this pub much, but it's a lovely place, the food is great and all the staff are very friendly and welcoming 😊 10/10
Visited last Friday and the staff were professional and attentive. Checking if we needed drinks and if our meal was good. Nice we had the same waitress the whole time. Great with allergies and selection of foods. I also love the vegan blackcurrant moose as I have dairy/egg intolerances so means I can have a pudding safely. Thanks for a great night ref ticket 127, AD653085
This is our 3rd time coming here. It's a really nice place which serves excellent food and drinks. Great decor, staff, atmosphere. Car park right outside. Quite handy being not too far from the motorway.
I've only taken a star off for the price. 4 of us ate here during my most recent visit and it was nearly £150. It was over £10 for a G&T. I just think some of the prices are unnecessarily high.
Amazing great quality food at amazing prices. Such a lovely establishment.
Seriously tasty burger! Beautiful lovely pub with friendly staff and delicious food. The pictures don't do it just justice - apologies. One of the best pub burgers I have had in a long time. Bar area is dog friendly as well. Well worth a visit!
I visited to try out the new menu that has arrived at the Victoria. The food, as always, was absolutely exceptional, which is a reason why it’s one of my favourite pubs. Not only was the food amazing but the service from Erin and Reece was top notch. If you’re after beautiful scenery, outstanding food and great service then don’t hesitate to visit the Victoria!

I thought, ok, just another Sunday lunch in a pub. Boy was I mistaken, this place was absolutely fantastic, our server Alice was a breath of fresh air, polite, courteous and happy to serve us. A table of 12, everything served on time, mostly together, even the toddlers ate everything. I can highly recommend this place for fab food, great service and a genuinely nice place to visit, thank you all xx

We recently tried the new menu and we were really impressed with what we had.
Starters:
•PAN-FRIED WILD SCALLOPS: ras el hanout, smoked haddock Florentine bonbons, celeriac purée, apple & fennel tartare - £11.50
•ASIAN-STYLE CRISPY DUCK SALAD: cucumber & mooli ribbons, shredded carrot & cabbage, watercress, spring onion, plum,
sesame & hoisin sauce - £7.25
Mains:
•ROSEMARY AND BALSAMIC LAMB SHANK: maple roasted carrot, green
beans, creamy mash and a rich Bordelaise sauce - £22.95 (special)
•ROTISSERIE HALF CHICKEN: fries, rich chicken gravy, aioli - £14.50
Desserts:
•ICE CREAM & HOME-BAKED
TRIPLE CHOCOLATE COOKIE - £5.75
•STICKY TOFFEE PUDDING with honeycomb ice cream - £6.95
The scallop starter was cooked to perfection and the apple and fennel tartare was the perfect accompaniment to the seafood. The duck salad was light and fresh with the ideal amount of dressing and a good portion of duck, which was lean and flavoursome.
The mains were also delicious. The lamb fell from the bone, the mash was a golden buttery marvel, and the Bordelaise sauce had so much depth of flavour you’d drown! Honesty! Marvellous 👏🏽 The rotisserie was ordered with BBQ flavour which was a good balance of smoky and sweet. The chicken was moist and the gravy was another triumph from the chefs; a wonderful umami flavour that brought what could be a standard dish to another level.
The sticky toffee pudding was comfort in and bowl. The sauce wasn’t too sickly sweet and the honeycomb ice cream was a perfectly creamy compliment.
The staff were super friendly and attentive and Erin who took care of us was a credit to
The Victoria. We hope we are
sat in her section next time we visit.
We will definitely be visiting again because
we loved the menu and can't wait to try
more…We've got our eyes on the maple glazed pork belly & scallops, and the chicken, brie and bacon pie for next time.
Anniversary meal, absaloutley loved it. The atmosphere was good, the food was excellent and the staff were really helpful and nice to be around. Thank you for a great evening.
The food was great and so was the service. Lesley looked after our table very well and even took group photos for us at our request. Great evening all round!

The staff were very helpful and friendly. The food was tasty and met expectations.
We weren't happy with the original table allocated to our party and it wasn't too much trouble to move us to a different table. A glass of wine was knocked over and the glass broke - again the staff were very helpful in clearing up the mess. To cap it all my Mum choked on her food which caused a bit of an incident for 5 minutes and again the staff were very helpful and understanding. This was our second lunch at The Victoria and we will definitely return. Many thanks.
Took our dog for a long walk in the hills and looked for a nice dog friendly pub - coming across The Victoria.
Love the interior, so cosy and clean. The fire is stunning too. The staff were amazing from the moment we walked in. So lovely, friendly and welcoming.
So much choice for food, husband went for the pork and scallops and he loved them! I had a wee try of the scallops - delicious!
I went for the burger, and upgraded to billionaires fries - OHMYGOD delicious!!
Truffle mayo, parmesan cheese and prosciutto - it was phenomenal!
Would 100% recommend and we will be back!
Had a lovely Sunday lunch, absolutely delicious. Great selection of cocktails too.
My first visit here , we went for a birthday lunch . In a lovely setting and a short walk from the train station . The interior and decor very cosy , staff lovely and friendly. We had the 2-3 course lunch £17.99-£21.99 - I had pan fried king prawns with chorizo & tomato sauce to start - absolutely beautiful ! Then we all had fish and chips which was a very large crispy battered cod , with triple cooked chips , tartare sauce & peas , very very tasty and filling . My Mum and auntie had the mini dessert with a hot drink , apple and plum crumble with ice cream , which was a good sized portion, more than enough and absolutely delicious! We had several bottles of wine too 🍷. We sat outside after our meal in the beer garden which was lovely ! I would definitely visit again ☺️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Craved a Sunday Roast fairly late on a Sunday. They were able to seat us and the chicken and pork options were available.
Great food and a very decent portion size. All served with a smile, couldn't fault the place.
A great pub etc within easy drive of central Birmingham.
Great range of food at good prices and always well cooked.
You can even get there by train. Very useful if meeting friends for more than a single drink.
Just make sure you go to the far side platform for the trip home. Otherwise you could end up in bromsgrove or worcester
Great service and great food as usual. I usually have the steak and cheese pie with beef dripping but decided to try the lamb shank instead, It was beautifully cooked but I found the gravy a bit tasteless, would have been nice with some mint sauce, which I will bring with me if I have it again. My husband's steak was perfectly medium rare and he really enjoyed it. Starters and wine also good.
I asked for a round table and as they didn't have one, they pushed two tables together to make a square....which was very kind of them. Service was brilliant, food very good and everyone enjoyed their visit. Thank you.
