Never fail to provide outstanding service & the best coffee ever
Costa by the station has always had great staff that make customers feel welcome. The cafe is kept clean & today even though it’s very busy. The car park is excellent if dogs are in cars as it’s possible to park where they can easily be seen.
Very clean inside and service is very fast with drinks always top notch. No complaints, but the outside is very dirty. A lot of litter in the carpark, discarded straws etc, by the entrance and down the opposite side which is a shame as it spoils the look of what is a great place to get drinks.
This is my local Costa, I go there all the time. The drink range is very large, they offer milk alternatives for people who can't drink cows milk, or people that prefer something different. The food options are amazing, I recommend the chicken and bacon grilled sandwich (heated). Their cafe is always very busy so if your in a hurry, I'd go to the Costa express just round the corner or order ahead using the app.
Service was exceptional. Order was received with exactly what we asked for, within about 1 minute. Impressed to get an extra hot latte, exactly what we asked for. Standard Costa snacks available. Very nice Belgian chocolate frostino, and muffin! Parking lot/car park right next to the coffee shop, with free parking. Very convenient. Not far off a main road which is good if you are traveling through Barnstaple. Highly recommended, good experience.

Quick service though and staff friendly
Was dissatisfied when asked for a decaf and was given a normal coffee which made me ill for 24hrs after having a caffeine reaction hence why I ask for decaf won't be using this branch again unfortunately
Good coffee shop. Possible to park here and is particularly good for meeting friends without going into town. Coffee is good too.
Honestly this Costa has the friendliest staff! Always a pleasure to visit this shop, great location by the train station, easy access to buses and within walking distance to the town. I usually order ahead via the app and the drinks and food are always ready at the collection point made exactly as requested. There is such a friendly and happy atmosphere in here created by the staff and their interactions with customers.
This is pretty much as good as a Costa can get. If you're going to Barnstaple, you have to visit this one. It's got the friendliest staff, it's air-conditioned and very spacious, it's usually not as busy, the service is fast, there's a large car park with free parking, and there's outdoor seating.
However, it's still a Costa. That means the drinks are very overpriced, the food is VERY overpriced, it's not the cleanest coffee shop, they mistreat their staff and they are not a very ethical company. But, you know, if you're gonna go to a Costa in the area, this is the best option.
A busy little cafe with quite a nice atmosphere. The staff try to keep the place clean and tidy so as a result I am more inclined to go back. Coffee is of s reasonable price and standard as you would expect from Costa. Staff are amiable without being pushy. As a bonus they have their own car park!!
Lovely friendly service, easy to park up and just taketime out of a busy day. Staff were helpful with choices when my usual was unavailable. I finally decided on the Christmas yule log, very chocolaty mm would have been nice to have some cream on top. I'll certainly ask next time as cream was available for mince pies.

A joy every time. Staff are friendly, welcoming and always keen to help. Drinks are always delicious and are perfect for all occasions. I would suggest this Costa or any others to anyone.
