Putsborough Beach Shop - Barnstaple - Photo album

The only bad thing was to pay £60 to stay overnight in the beach. (September 2021) There's not showers. Apart from that it was worth it to go there. Amazing!!!
Puts is amazing! Overnight camping in our van here is all we ever want to do! Beach is amazing, rock pools, surf and amenities all superb, clean and ultra friendly 👌🏻
Great beach that doesn’t disappear completely at high tide. Half the beach allows dogs, half doesn’t. Great cafe and shop, if a little pricey. Only 4 stars as the charge to park is horrendous
Very nice beach, lots of space. Extortionate parking though. £8.50 regardless of length of stay. So even if you want to just have a look for 10 minutes, it's £8.50. and the roads to get there are treacherous. Worth it for the lovely beach though
Picture postcard perfect beach. Long gently sloping beach giving plenty of space for all beach users. Beach is about 2 miles long from Putsborough Sands to Woolacombe Sands. Good surf, although check the surf forecast for best days. Great for football, cricket and all activities. Also forms part of
Great beach, just be mindful of traffic, be patient and take your turn on the roads otherwise it'll take you a while to get there, there are pull ins. Car park can cost around £9 for a car for the day. Cafe and toilets. Beautiful views from car park 😍
A beautiful beach, one of the nicest in Devon. Car parking is inflexible and very expensive if you just want to come down for the afternoon. But the toilets are nice, the food concession is good and it's clear money does get invested in facilities. Avoid Bank Holidays...
White sandy beach with car park, toilets (Platininum award level) and cafés only a few minutes walk away. Can get quite busy but good for body boarding and surfing. A stream reaches the sea so creates a nice spot for kids to play and damn it up.
