My favorite pub of Barnstaple! Amazing staff, atmosphere, live music/quiz nights. As well as delicious food, was so thankful to have my be-lated birthday dinner with my dad there, one of the best roasts you can get

This was our first visit to this pub,but will definitely not be the last.we were greeted with a friendly and warm welcome from the lovely lady behind the bar, our table was not ready so we took our drinks outside the chairs out the back were probably the most comfortable beer garden chairs ever . The carvery well what can I say but FIRST CLASS fresh and hot I wish I would have found this pub I long time ago the landlord came over to tell us of his specials on a Friday two steaks and a bottle of wine for less than £25 we will be trying it out very soon,so if you fancy dinner or a lunch out this is the place to go !!

Usual stop before the local football game. Good selection of local drinks and with chips that could put some chippies to shame. Friendly bar staff and live sport

Right on the edge of Barnstaple town centre near the River Yeo.Sadly very quiet on a late Sunday afternoon but beer was in good order.

The room was comfortable but basic, The bar was really nice and I would definitely recommend the Sunday carvery. Best I've eaten in a long time. Pop in if you're ever in Barnstaple. Parking right outside 👍👍

Great carvery for the price. Large portions and proper home cooking. Only criticism is there's no vegetarian option for a carvery which can be a nuisance as my partner is vegetarian. Highly recommended though 👌

Good location and parking was ok. Very friendly helpful staff only let down by poor gents toilets. Floor was soaked and smelt of pee. Looks like they may have an issue with the drains that was under repair so hopefu6will be fixed soon

Great traditional British pub, with good traditional facilities. Our party enjoyed real good quality traditional (there's that word again) ales, lagers and ciders. Staff were exceptionally friendly and even assisted in transporting us 5 miles back home.

Stayed here for 4 nights, as a base for walking the South West Coast Path. The location was ideal. It's only a few minutes walk into the town centre with easy access to bus routes. The staff were really friendly and the landlord was welcoming, friendly and very helpful. The room was small but spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated. The pub food was good and the whole stay gave good value for money.

Just had a great weekend at the Rolle Quay Inn. Mark and his staff were brilliant and looked after us all very well. Hotel is full of character and has a lovely beer garden. Location is great too. Would definitely stay here again when back in Barnstaple.

Had a nice pint of Thatchers Gold here earlier today, really comfortable pub which seems like it would have a good atmosphere later on in the evening
