i went to wimpy in barnstaple as i had been put off them as they never looked clean but the one in barnstaple high street is the best clen staff nice and service good im going to go in there again xxx
Brilliant place. Good food. Great staff
Not had a Wimpy for years - looks the same tastes the same, fresh and filling, friendly staff (price has gone up since last time though lol)
Great food and outstanding service! We haven’t had a Wimpy for probably 15 years so we drove the 50 miles from Exeter for a treat. All the staff are very friendly and Sam made us extremely welcome. We had the classic Half Pounder and Mega Burger with Chips accompanied with Banana Milkshakes. All the food was delicious and would definitely recommend giving them a try. I just wish there was a branch on Exeter.
Stepping back in time in a really good way! Table service, friendly staff, good food, and a nice price. Highly recommend.
Staff friendly, table cleaned when we sat down. Food didn't take long to be served. Bit pricey, but it was delicious + far better than rival burger eateries.
I popped in today as I won't lie to you I didn't even know Wimpy's were still open. Lovely friendly staff much more of a local/family feel rather than the cooperate MacDonalds feel. Don't get me wrong it's still fast food but just feels nicer, maybe it's nostalgia but either way well worth at visit.
Excellent service, very clean and very welcoming.
First time here. Haven't seen or been to a wimpy in years ( since the 80's ) meal deals slightly more expensive that your mucky d / Burger King deals. Staff member polite and Covid regulations adhered to. Nice to see another staff member wipe down a table and seats when it got vacated. QR code on front window. Hand sanitiser near door entrance. Burger was ok nothing amazing. Fries felt like they were either over cooked or recooked?! Prob won't go again but ok for nostalgia value.
Finally found a wimpy restaurant food excellent staff friendly and helpful and hard working just wish there was more restaurant 🍴 as much better than McDonald's and burger King
The customer service, the attitude of staff, the atmosphere, and the food were everything I hoped for in this nostalgia trip having not been to a Wimpy for many years. Everything was first class, and we are now than likely to make a day trip again. Well done to the manager and her staff for preserving the essence of what this was always about. Thank you, visiting here made my year!
Good food, reasonably quick service as they were quite busy
Excellent food. Good service. Like the Wimpy I used to remember in Nottingham from years ago. Not many left but this one is definitely worth a visit.
Like being transported back to the 70s, tasted the same and cooked to order, service ok, only disappointment was being told closing early, but it was an hour before closing time , other than that ok.
It's been decades since I last had a Wimpy. Was not dissapointed - fresh tasting burger, good fries and a lovely thick banana milkshake 😋
This was my first ever wimpys iv bin to and it was better than I thort it would be the staff were excellent especially Dan ow was nice. The coffee was ok and the chips were fantastic. Come here its worth it.
Haven't seen a wimpy in donkeys years, was exactly as I remember it. Food was good service was good, always has been a bit pricey but was a real nostalgia trip
The food was great the milkshakes were awesome and the staff were very friendly.
Went here for lunch when I recently went on a trip to Devon. Unfortunately I don't have any Wimpy restaurants where i live anymore. The food was very nice and reasonably priced! The staff were very helpful and pleasant. Great place to go for lunch, its not your typical fast food restaurant as the menu is quite varied. Wouldnt hesitate going there again for food!
