What a great little place, so nice to see something that isn't a national chain, the menu and produce on offer was all locally sourced and priced incredibly fairly, service was spot on and its dog friendly, what more could you ask for. Worth a visit even if you're not catching a train!

If you like railway stations, you'll like this café. Up to date info on trains and times on a screen. Super outdoor courtyard too. They have dairy alternatives for those who do not want milk. Good choice of food and cakes.

Delightful little Cafe with a lovely garden patio and pond. Birds with nicknames frequent the space. Dogs are welcome(yay). I only had toast, so cannot really comment on the food, but they make a good cup of tea and the staff go the extra mile. I definitely recommend a visit.

Possibly the best breakfast in Devon. Good sized portions and delicious. Staff are very friendly and attentive without being over the top. I’d recommend to anyone walking or cycling the Tarka Trail, it’s the best place to stop for a break in the Barnstaple area. Second visit - Excellent service again. Great freshly prepared sandwich and local ice cream. Lovely outdoor seating area which is an addition since my last visit, and a nice little shop area selling local and train themed gifts. Worth a visit whether you’re passing through the station or just in the area.

Super cafe, if using the train, cycle track or just wanting to catch up with friends. The outdoor seating area is a delight and the foods fabulous too. Gluten Free pasties are excellent as are the other offerings. Staff are very friendly and helpful. We ordered pasties to take to Lundy for the trip across, bloomin beautiful and very much appreciated. Thanks and see you soon 😍
