By far the best breakfast in town. Enjoyed a late breakfast yesterday with a friend and as normal, cooked to the best standard AND it wasn't greasy. Which just made it even better �
I’ve just had an excellent meal at the Latteria Cafe in Bear Street, Barnstaple. My meal was served piping hot and very reasonably priced. Will most definitely be going there again! If you were like me, in town shopping and wondering where to go for a bite to eat. You’ve drifted down butchers row and there across the road Wetherspoons stares back at you. You think ‘I suppose it’s going to be Wetherspoons again’ ..........But wait!! Make a smart left turn away from Wetherspoons and take the next right into Bear Street. Yes! There it is, Latteria Cafe on the left. Get yourself and your party in there for the freshly cooked food, the friendliest of staff and the fabulous decor. Don’t be confused by the small door, inside it’s a Tardis.
Ordered a buffet for a 60th birthday party, plenty of food, some amazing homemade pies and cakes. Amazing service! Thank you

I arranged to meet up with a mate today for a 'Christmas all day brunch!' After a hard mornings work we had built up quite an appetite too, we needed a serious feed! I'd noticed before after walking past that the Latteria cafe amongst its usual customers often had a table of hungry looking builders feasting away! So I suggested to my friend, we go there! It was fairly busy in the cafe as was all of town but we soon found a table where we were comfortable! Being blokes, we knew what we wanted - 'a Full English' of course, wasting no time we were quick to order! Aware that the cafe was busy we braced ourselves for a long wait for our food to arrive! However, we we pleasantly surprised thanks to the hard working staff that our food was cooked and served quite promptly meaning we didn't have to break into our emergency reserve supply of patience! The food itself, we weren't dissatisfied :) a healthy serving of all you'd expect of a Full English and more! The staff, very friendly, they made sure we had all the condiments we desired.. All in all we left two very happy chaps with our bellies full and ready to take on the rest of the day!
The Latteria cafe will most definitely be our go to cafe in Barnstaple from now on.. Thanks again, Glen and Ash

I went here on Saturday, absolutely loved it. The girls are so friendly especially Ashleigh he couldn't do enough for us. The food was brilliant,absolutely gorgeous jacket potato with a beautiful salad the potato hadn't been sitting there for hours. It had a lovely taste and was nice and hot. We will be back.
Really lovely staff. Nice food, well cooked and kid, oap friendly. The mini breakfast is great value and both my tea and baby bro's coffee were well flavoured.
Such lovely food, been back a few more times. Friendly and welcoming staff and they always give my dog a sausage 😊

Best VFM cafe in town. Unfortunately it's up for sale so go check it out before it goes. But I hope a new owner takes it on delivering the same good service as is a popular eatery for locals. Thank you for great food 😊
Extraordinary service, lovely coffee, perfectly cooked food, clean tidy, friendly staff who remember you and offer that personal service that seems long forgotten these days, lovely menu, Wi-Fi the list goes on and on. Yes I'm a regular, highly recommended.
