Dropped in to pick up a takeaway last night, only to find out that they now have Singha beer, on tap! While bottle beer is fine, draft is so much better. As I was driving home, I was limited to a swift half, but as they say in the movies "I'll be back."

Went here for my mums birtday. Really friendly service and excellent food I recommended the roast duck with tamarind and cashews or the papaya salad. Well worth a visit.

An undiscovered gem tucked away on Boutport Street in Barnstaple, North Devon 's little city. Fresh very tasty food served by attentive staff.

Silver Tree is now take away only but they still have the Thai/Oriental shop where frozen and shelf items can be purchased at a reasonable price. The owners are very sociable and always ready to point you to the correct shelf. Most of the time they come out and select what I want rather than try to point me in the rite direction.

The restaurant has merged into a Thai supermaket. So no fine in option anymore. But food is still authentic but on the sweet side. The shop is a little hard to find on Google map and the supermarket sells lots of different Chinese and Thai food.
A little restaurant that really cooks Thai food although on the sweet side but those looking for real spicy should look no further. The duck spring rolls are good and the other fried noodles dishes are not oily which was not easy to make without burning them. The papaya salad tasted just like that in Thailand (on the sweet side). Reasonable prices, Thai food aren't supposed to be expensive.
Enjoyed a take out from here whilst visiting in the nearby area. Food was delicious! Authentic Thai. 100% recommend the panang curry, incredibly delicious! Great portion sizes, we had a curry each but shared rice as also shared sides, more than plenty!

Beautiful decor, including a well grown bonsai-style plant at the front of the restaurant. The bar looks amazing. Attention to detail all around, including pretty cutlery and down to how the napkins are folded. Friendly staff and last but not least great food. I recommend Tom Yum soup.
Big portions, very friendly service, delicious food and reasonably priced. Will definitely eat here again! Also they are very allergen friendly (gluten in my case) and you can download their menu in advance to check any allergens in their dishes.
Outstanding. We are from Yorkshire and have lots of thai restaurants but this was amazing. Honestly the best we have ever had. Brilliant portion size, fantastic flavour. I had the beef masaman and the beef just melted on your tongue. Squid was huge and tender. We aim to go back asap👌
Don’t judge a book by its cover.. Looks like only a supermarket from outside but the takeaways are served at the back. Honestly, THE BEST sweet chilli sauce I have ever tasted. And the pad Thai is the best I’ve had outside of Thailand. Huge portions and really reasonable price.. such a hidden gem!

Take away, delivered on time and it was excellent. Having been to Thailand many times I can tell you the food is rich but very good.
This is a nice little restaurant with character and a good atmosphere. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The food was very good. We chose this restaurant because it caters for individuals on a vegan diet. Everyone at our table loved their food, omni and vegan alike.

We've been having takeaway from Silver Tree since lockdown began (at least once a month) and have never been disappointed. Today I decided to try something different which was the Lamb Massaman Curry. This has easily got to be one of the best things I have eaten from this restaurant. It was absolutely delicious. My wife has the pad khing everytime and has always enjoyed it. The lady who serves us is always helpful and cheerful and makes it a pleasure to deal with.
