A beautiful building with such a surprise when you walk into the riverside room with the light and space, with choice of seating. Good menu and choice for gluten free which is hard to find. Absolutely love the seafood chowder, what a treat with a glass of white wine. Can’t wait to hire it for a private function!
A lovely spot to grab some lunch, really lovely food. A lovely, friendly, relaxed place to take the children to eat too with the added bonus of a little play area for them inside. Highly recommend. (The cakes all looked very tempting too will be returning to try some!)
Visited for lunch today and was very impressed. Light, airy spacious and clean. Food was yummy and very well priced. We had a cake each and they were fabulous, lovely and moist and tasty. I would highly recommend this place. I would say great for parents with buggy's as lots of room and kids menu looks great, healthy bits and lots if choice. Great service too �
I visited with family and my baby. Good menu with lots of choice and good options for allergies. Lovely and spacious inside so lots of room for pushchairs and they have the ikea antilop high chairs which is a great plus compared to the standard wooden ones you normally get when eating out, nice play corner for children too. Food was lovely, will definitely recommend.
Delicious, fresh food - especially the seafood menu. Staff are friendly and helpful. Great for families, would highly recommend.

A very lovely interior, wasn't expecting it to be so big, lovely high ceilings with large old photographs of when the old shops used to dock.
Had a very tasty English breakfast, daughter had a vegetarian breakfast. Service was excellent, friendly and attentive, just perfect ☺️

Afternoon tea for my wife's birthday was booked on the same day and a wonderful afternoon we had, excellent sandwich selection, with mini quiches, cakes were moreish with of course scones, cream and jam. We ended up with a doggy bag to go. Sat outside in the shade very pleasant ambiance and top notch service with a wonderful smile. My only problem is we are visitors to the area, need a shipment up north. Thankyou for a nice afternoon
We saw a cafe by the river on Google Maps, so aimed for this one.
Family lunch with a grown up son and teenage daughter.
The service was good, the place was cool (very historic) but not really any views of the river.
The food was good but not real chips, so they lost a star from me for this.
On a sunny afternoon with the tide in, it was glorious - and hard to believe we are well into October !
My first experience with this Cafe, to be honest I didn't realize it was there as I was always focused on the neighbouring cafe but I'm glad that I gave it a try as I was well impressed, not only with the food and the service, I was really surprised as to how big it was with plenty of seating available inside and outside. The staff were really friendly and helpful so I would definitely recommend this Cafe.
