Handy location in Barnstaple. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the food was excellent. I had Calamari which was the softest I have had in a very long while. It melted in your mouth and there was a good portion size too. I followed this with Scallops which you could have served 2 ways. My husband had seafood paella and again this was a very good sized portion for the money and this was followed by sardines. We also shared a bowl of excellently crispy fries. We have been before and will definitely go again. I can highly recommend the tapas there.
Made to feel so welcome on only our second visit. Bar staff, Ben and Harry especially, were top class.
Food recommendations hit the spot, perfectly cooked and presented. Best bar and service in my books and would recommend to anyone visiting Barnstaple or surrounding area.

We only stopped by for coffee and one of their wonderful hot chocolates but then I was tempted to order the steak burger and wow I wasn’t disappointed! I think that was one of the nicest beef burgers I’ve ever had! The meat was perfectly cooked and still juicy. The chips and salad that came with it were also lovely as were all the extras in the burger itself. Staff were welcoming and friendly too.
Cozy nooks to relax in. Very attentive staff. Excellent excellent food. Better than what I had in Madrid. Wish I lived here. I would be eating here every week. Definitely will make a point to eat here whenever passing through.
So amazing our second visit here and the food was stunning the first time, the calamari was out of this world, we even offered a passer by to try a bit cos she looked like she was having a bad day, she loved it too. The staff were attentive and very friendly, atmosphere relaxed and welcoming. Can't wait to go again. Yum �
Delicious cakes, presented superbly, immaculate throughout and very friendly staff. Would throughly recommend a visit. When we are back down this way, will definitely be visiting again. �
Loved our lunch here today, four girls two babies and one child, we all had a lovely time, delicious wine and Nachos, and very attentive staff, who made pasta which wasn't even on the menu. Thank you all, loved every minute. :)
My husband and i always choose to come here for a meal when deciding to go out...the food is always amazing the staff are so friendly and nothing is ever too much trouble and the atmosphere is fantastic...when asked where is good to eat we always recommend Lilico's....

Great food, we always order lots of dishes so it comes out in stages which is fab it allows us to enjoy the food whilst not rushing and having a good natter. The atmosphere is very relaxing and the staff are just fab so attentive with nothing being too much bother, defiantly number one on my list of places to eat in Barnstaple.
Love everything about Lilicos and it's always the first place we think of for a special meal. Off there in a bit as its our Anniversary. Great food, ambiance and service. Well done to Chris, Wanda &staff ❤️

Really enjoyed our visit last Friday (29th Dec). The staff were so friendly and we did not feel rushed at all. The table was ours for the evening which we loved. The food was so tasty and you could tell it was all freshly cooked. Lovely cocktails. Really enjoyed ourselves and we definitely want to visit again soon. Thank you.

Fantastic venue for an 18th birthday. Relaxed atmosphere in the restaurant with an amazing menu, catering for everyones' tastes. Staff were helpful and the service excellent.

What a wonderful experience- welcomed as soon as we got through the door, chose where we would like to sit, Vicki our lovely waitress was so accommodating & friendly, seemed as if we'd known her for years. Nothing was too much trouble! Exceptional service.
The food was delicious, I had the Chicken Fajitas, my Sister had the Ceaser Wrap with a shared side of Rosemary Fries- all was well cooked, plentiful & quality.
Vicki invited us to come back on a Saturday to try out the cocktail, pitchers & to experience the live bands- we'll most certainly take her up on her offer!
Highly recommend this establishment- I will be visiting again very soon!

Faultless dining experience. We found this lovely tapas restaurant by chance searching right here on Google Maps. The reviews and pictures online certainly do represent the experience we had.
My partner is dairy and gluten-free - often a challenge for eating out - but the team and chef were superb.
They also have vegan tapas and gluten-free tapas and aren’t afraid to adapt to combine them both into a meal.
The service, food, and atmosphere were superb. I would highly recommend booking in. We booked via Facebook and they replied and booked us in within minutes.
From start to finish this was a wonderful experience. We’ll be back (they do takeaway pizza, too!)
Really lovely place in Barnstaple. As a family of 5 we each enjoyed a great filling meal with drinks and desserts. It seems to cater for a wide range of customers and had a nice, chilled atmosphere with pleasant staff. Would highly recommend.
Absolutely beautiful food, The staff are amazing and attentive - our server in particular was absolutely fantastic, she explained the menu, and recommended dishes. Lots of walking and had to stop, and found the perfect spot to rest up, have something to eat and drink. Very pleased we did too. Outside area to people watch, nice stylish interior with front window seats for more people watching plus intimate tables tucked away inside. Good choice menu for all tastes. I had the vegan vegetable mezze and what a feast. Delicious with crispy baby potatoes and lots of flavours going on. Staff helpful and courteous. Very enjoyable.

We went here after Wetherspoons, down the road, were packed and thank goodness we did! We were thankful for the calm atmosphere! The menu was a bit more pricey but this was expected as it's quality food. I thoroughly enjoyed the halloumi fries and can't get them out of my head! 🤣
Martin, the new owner, was very attentive, and Vicki, who served us, was excellent, too. The food was delicious. I would definitely recommend this place if you're local or on holiday. It has seriously improved since it has been under new ownership. Great job, Martin!

I ate here as part of a group out celebrating a friends’ birthday and my meal was lovely. The food being served around our table looked delicious and the quantities were just right as no one seemed to leave anything behind. Be warned, the sharing platters are very large!
The staff were friendly and clearly managing a very busy environment to the best of their ability.
Had the nachos with 5 bean chilli, chunky chips, corn on the cob and mixed salad.
All very tasty and all prepared separately from meat and fish products.
Looking forward to our next visit.

Great food and service we arrived without booking and despite being busy they managed to fit us in. Also felt very safe with their Covid measures.

Called to book and they were quite abrupt about you can come at 6:30 but need to leave by 8 and they seemed a bit confused by themselves! When we got there they showed us to our table and we had a look at the drinks menus. Lots of nice cocktails, though they are reasonably pricey (£7-10), they were really nice!
They took a while to give us a food menu but then we ordered okay! We had 5 tapas dishes between 2 of us, the waitress said that normally 3 each is good but 2.5 was plenty!!!
