Pyne Arms - Barnstaple - Photo album

We had our wedding reception at the Pyne Arms at the start of the month and it was just perfect. Everything had been planned so well and decorated so beautifully. It was full of fairy lights and bunting which made it look so cosy. The tables were laid exactly the way we wanted and everything just se
Lovely village pub with old fashion charm. Served amazing Sunday roast beef. Desserts were too good to miss. Highly recommend.
We spent our wedding anniversary there and it was perfect, quiet and personal while still enjoying the busyness of a little, but well loved pub. Food was beautifully seasoned, flavours that complimented each other. Service knew all about the drinks and food, very attentive but not intrusive. I hi
Amazing food and excellent service, staff very friendly & welcoming. The pub itself was cosy, with some awesome pictures and very comfy chairs. It is in a lovely location with a good car park. Coconut prawn starter and the Sea Bream on smoked salmon risotto were superb.
We had a weekend booked away with friends and hadn't pre planned or booked anywhere to eat however we did a little research and knew there was a local pub to where we were staying so we turned up on a Friday hoping to eat. They were fully booked however accommodated us and were super lovely! The foo

Absolutely fabulous meal. We went to celebrate a birthday and it was certainly extra special. Service could not be faulted, very attentive. Enjoyed our food choices very much and the cocktails were amazing!

Absolutely fantastic! I dined alone and was given a lovely table tucked away so I felt very snug, and I wasn’t rushed at all - the service was super. The food was perfect, a delicious starter and an excellent roast (beef served rare as it should be but seems to be… rare(!). Can’t wait to visit again
Fantastic food, wonderful rooms and great service. Menu changes daily and booking is essential, otherwise you’re unlikely to get a seat. Will be back again very soon
Amazing food and excellent service. My wife and I were divided as to if this was our best or second best meal in Devon this August. We will have to return next year to settle our disagreement!
Really delicious food - staff very friendly & welcoming checking everything was well during our meal - beautiful location.
Where do I begin - food, accommodation excellent. Staff so so helpful and friendly - nothing was too much trouble. The pub itself was really cosy, awesome pictures and comfy chairs. Lovely location. Tip - go, you won't be disappointed
Filming in North Devon and found this gem. Perfect location with some of the best food tasted. Service was excellent 👌 room was spotless and tastefully decorated. If you are looking for a place to stay in North Devon this is it. Thank you guys!
Amazing food today 😜 such lovely atmosphere! The lady who served us was also awesome 🤩 thanks all for a great dinner xxx
Loved it. Excellent food, exceptional cooked breakfast. Very comfortable room. Good range of ales and local cider.
Great country pub where we had a tasty Sunday lunch. The Scotch eggs were perfect and the wagu burger afterwards was very tasty too. All was washed down with a very drinkable local dry cider. It is also dog-friendly which was much appreciated four-footed friend.
