best food we eat ever, the combo its delicious. Saturday band after 8:30 pm and the atmosphere is getting so friendly .
prices are acceptable and food is fresh and fast served.
we had dinner at 5 pm end left at 11pm with great live music and friendly people. 10 stars review if i could.
Popped in on a Sunday on our way down to Wollacombe as we needed a brake and some food. It was a lovely sunny day and the outdoor area was tidy and appealing. We were liturally just in time as the kitchen was about to close and they allowed us to order in quick - 2 Sunday roasts, topside beef and the Mediterranean tart which came out with the sides of veg. The Yorkshire puddings were amazing and we both cleared our plates and left very happy. Service was brill and we'd definitely recommend this lovely spot with free parking on the side ππΌ
Fantastic staff and service and a great place to have breakfast and coffee whilst you avail yourself of the mobile Post Office here on a Thursday morning. A special mention for Sharon, who went that extra mile for me this morning and for Heather, who invariably provides outstanding service at the Post Office counter. I do hope that people will make a conscious choice and continue to support these essential services, which breathe life into the local community.

Really nice rustic feel when you walk in. Everyone so friendly and Boris got his fusses as this is a dog friendly pub π
Kitchen service was limited today but the cook came out to go through what was on the loaded nachos (mine) and loaded fries (husband). Food was delicious! The chilli had to be homemade as was the salsa on my nachos but was disappointed as I couldn't finish it all as the portion was very generous β€οΈ
Nice drop of Orchard Thieves too. Can't comment on the beer/lager as himself was driving so stuck to Pepsi.

On arrival the bar maid was very attentive and spoke to the children we had in a lovely manner. The place was clean, the bathrooms were amazing and had everything a woman could need.
The food was amazing, the chef/owner was lovely. He spoke to us for a few minutes after our meal and explained he'd owned this place for 10 years also advised us about his "best roast in the South West". Music was spot on, with volume and choice of music.
Will return in the future!
The Castle in Landkey offers a lovely atmosphere and great drinks. The ambiance is cozy and inviting, making it a perfect place to unwind and socialize. The prices for the drinks were great, offering good value for money. While I didn't try the food, the overall experience was enjoyable. The staff were friendly and attentive, adding to the positive atmosphere. I would recommend visiting the Castle for a relaxing evening with friends or family.
Lovely little village pub. Dog friendly. Food is lovely and home made. My partner had streak which just melted in the mouth. I had the chicken nuggets which were equally as delicious. Staff are friendly and super helpful.
Just happened upon this village pub on a Friday evening; our last day of our holiday. Our spaniel was made very welcome, the young lady that served us was very tiendly, the food was quick, hot and excellent. Great atmosphere and obviously very popular with the locals. Thoroughly recommend this pub.
