Polite young man took order and quoted 10/15 mins for it to be ready arrived order was ready no problems.
We had 2x noodle boxes satay & spicy of which were piping hot when we got home and very good value for money
Only gave 4 out of 5 stars as it's our first time of using and only meal so far but won't be the last , thanks
Best Chinese in the area. Paid 13.50 for special chow mein and ribs in bar b que sauce. Big chunks of meat and the usual 2 king prawns etc. Really satisfied with the quality. My new go to Chinese and we live in Shafton, so much better than the nearer places.

I purchased a meal for a friend sweet and sour chicken balls is what in asked for and I got pork
and prawn which I an allergic to seafood and could have made me very ill I dint eat last night I decided to warm up tonight I'm not impressed and will be telling everyone not to order from here if I could give no stars then I would 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡

Definitely best Chinese I've had in Barnsley.
Relatively clean/well kept feel inside compared to the surrounding takeaways and area. Great service from the chap behind the counter, lovely guy. The chef even recommended which dish we should get after we asked a question, even though he didn't speak much English.
Had a nice duck chow mein (although the menu said it was shredded and it wasn't - was looking forward to crispy 'pulled' duck in the middle. Still nice chunks of duck though!) Girlfriend had a nice king prawn chow mein with lots of flavour and lots of prawns - good plump juicy prawns too!
Very very nice Chinese curry and Sweets and Sour sauces, with proper 'chinese takeaway chips' - you know the ones! Massive bag of mini spring rolls too for spending over £20
Don't get me wrong, this is the English take on Chinese, and not authentic dishes, but done to a high standard!
My only criticism would be that the Pork balls had almost cakey batter inside the crispy shell. I would expect more of a chip shop fish style batter than that. Even with this, this was still worth 5/5 for me.

Absolutely best Chinese takeaway by far we live in hoyland. it’s worth the travel or delivery which ever suits we’ve tried all in hoyland and birdwell cant beat Barnsley house DELICIOUS 😋 X
