Had the fish and chips meal at The Edmunds, the fish was massive with crispy batter. My friend had the bean chilli which she enjoyed. The pub was quiet when we visited, but may get busy at times, so maybe it's best to book a table . Nice place and friendly staff, plenty of parking. The decor could do with an update as a bit old fashioned, but a nice village pub.

No stars for food as didn't eat. Love this pub, it's a proper local pub. Only get to go when I visit my mum Missed it when it was closed. We had a G&T and a pint £7 ish but definitely less than £8

We were just passing and decided to see if they did food, only the two of us in the dining area, lady behind the bar was lovely, drinks reasonably priced, ordered our food, the lady who brought our food was the landlady who was very friendly, the food was delicious and plentiful, well cooked and presented, we have been told the Sunday lunches are great so will be returning for one of those. Thankyou for the welcome and our delicious tea 👌

This is a proper pub, it is busy 'early bar' with a great location and staff who are happy to help. I would recommend a visit to anyone who is local to the area.

Went with a party of 12 for a meal after a local funeral and was pleasantly surprised at the large size of the portions and the very reasonable price of the food. We had steaks, fish, lasagna among other items things. Check the specials board behind the bar as items not on the menu are always available. You have got to have the chocolate brownie. It is the most amazing brownie I have eaten anywhere. Wonderful, old local village with a peaceful atmosphere. Plenty of parking and friendly staff.

It's been a few years since we last visited the Edmunds Arms, our first impression on entering the pub looked a lot cleaner the manager was very welcoming and friendly. The beer ( we had the Organic Larger) was excellent. We will certainly be going back in the next few weeks. One thing to note as with all Sam Smiths pubs mobile phones, tablets, and laptops are frowned upon.

A Samuel Smiths boozer so a perfect selection of ale on the pumps. Traditional Sunday Roast was fantastic. Not faultless (I love my greens super green) but just awesome generally. Wish I'd gone for a small portion as it nearly killed me. Superb value. Lovely proper Yorkshire puddings and desserts to die for. Lovely friendly and helpful staff too. Nice and peaceful atmosphere in at least three well furnished and cosy rooms. I liked it so much I'm considering making the slightly long haul run from Nottingham to sample the Sunday lunch menu further! Yum

Haven't been for years (used to live in Worsbrough, now live in Milton Keynes) and it's only just reopened. Cash only, but friendly service and friendly locals. Hope this beautiful old pub weathers the current economic climate; it's a piece of history that shouldn't be allowed to perish.

Great land lord and lady! The food is hot, yummy and presentation excellent! We can’t recommend the food enough just great English favourites served up very well... 3.5 pints plus 2 main meals followed by sticky toffee pudding all for £24 brilliant. Staff really friendly too what more could you ask from a pub in a lovely village!
