I have to say as far as Costa coffee outlets goes this one has lovely staff who make a great brew.
Personally I think the price of food at establishments like this is WAY overpriced and in reality you could buy a full cake for the prices they charge. I got a Carrot and Walnut cake which cost around £2.75 per slice.
The coffee was nice and like I said before the staff make this place quite special with their freindly manner.
The Costa itself has two floor with a choice of in door and outdoor seating options.
There are two toilets, one upstairs and one downstairs with baby changing facilities.
I have added a photo of the upstairs as it was too busy to take pictures downstairs but the upstairs area was quite with only us in.
This Costa in Barnsley is a true delight! The staff's amazing customer service and warm greetings make you feel right at home. The cozy ambiance adds to the pleasant experience. It's a perfect place to enjoy excellent coffee and complete any work. I have been coming here a few lunch times a week. The staff have always been friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!
I came here after receiving some bad news. I sat with my family, and the two ladies working that Sunday shift were so lovely, welcoming, and informative. The young girl behind the counter, who I’ve dubbed ‘Gem’ made sure what I got was suitable for my diet requirement (vegetarian) and the other lady made us feel as welcome. Generally not an area I visit often but if I’m in the area again, Gem and Mandy will get my custom again.

Had had bad service at this Costa in the past but most recently was served by Leah who was super friendly and served us fast. She was the only one making drinks but they came out really fast and tasted great.

Every Friday i buy 10/12 coffees for staff at work. I am served quickly and efficiently. The manageress is extremely friendly and happy to help all the time.
Nice enough inside, staff lovely. Just let down a bit by location. Looks a bit dingy stuck in the corner, with the bins not far away. But don't let that put you off. The place is clean and tidy inside 👍
Lovely staff who were working on Friday 18/2/22 (two ladies) extremely polite, helpful, kind and explained that I could have my frostino without coffee with made it tasted 10 times better!!

The team at Costa Coffe are absolutely amazing they are really nice, polite, friendly, welcoming people who definitely know how to make a smashing cuppa. I use Costa Coffee more than any other coffee franchise the prices are really good for value the food is great also.
I always ask for extra hot coffee and very rarely get one. I know milk should not be too hot when making cappuccino but it can be done. Otherwise a nice friendly coffee shop and convenient for me. Please take note.
