Went for a spot of lunch after the place had been recommended by friends who'd gotten married there. Service, food, location was exceptional and only go if you're hungry as the portions are extremely healthy...... but worth it 😘👌
Moved to Penistone and was just going to have a drink. Saw a meat and potato pie go past me. Though fully booked an event was finished, so we were able to sit in that area once the tables were cleared.

Attended an evening reception. The Barn was beautiful. Buffet food was great! The sausage rolls were best ever. Hope we get opportunity to go visit again.

Recently stayed I found all the staff really lovely and great service. Breakfast was very nice and the waitress was very attentive. Room was lovely and clean with everything we needed. Fantastic views and lovely play area for the kids. If I didn't live so far away it would definitely be on my local

Stayed for our Daughters wedding that was held in the barn. I cant say enough positive things in this short space. The hotel was fabulous. Rooms spotless and comfortable, the food was wonderful too, but it was the staff that made it the perfect stay. Every single person from bar to kitchen, cleaner
Had food here a number of times and been very pleased on each visit. Good menu options which change through the year, which shows they have a chef and team who care about the food they produce. Vegan /veggie & meaty eaters all catered for, even at breakfast. Dog friendly too.
Met friends from out of the area. Had a job getting there due to M1 then pitch black country roads. But Cubley Hall was really lovely, staff great and food lovely too. Friends stayed over but we didn't. Great place.
We ended up getting stranded in Penistone for the evening because of a flat. Laura and everyone at Cubley Hall were so nice and patient with two tourist, who at the last minute, needed a room for the night.

Came with friends for one night. Food brilliant, staff fantastic...so friendly. Beautiful location. Only one slight niggle....the double bed seemed very small and lots of cobwebs on ceiling, other than that all was great. Will definitely be back.
Wow.! Such an amazing team, Especially Sandra & all her staff. We could have asked more on our wedding day it really was to perfection. Down to every last little part of our special day.
