Good food, from a decent menu with some suprisingly good special offers at quieter times of the day
Really good food, went for valentines meal and the atmosphere was good. All the staff are really nice and all food is fairly priced.
Absolutely gorgeous food Authentic fresh tasting. Service too , excellent. Great simple welcoming atmosphere. Clean , hand gel on tables. Very pleasant experience HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Good wine too.
Fantastic Italian cuisine. Pizza has to be some of the best in town, good service too.
Definitely worth giving Romano's a go, you certainly won't regret it. Highly recommend.
Wow this food is amazing. We ordered takeaway three times in the last three weeks, it's the best food in Barnsley! Really friendly staff and really good with allergens too (making creamy dishes dairy free but still delicious!).

Service was very quick, food was delicious. Nice little restaurant. The mozzarella was delicious and so was the pollo serano. Husband almost could not finish his calzone it was a good size
Best Italian we have tried in Barnsley! Ordered as a takeaway and delivered in the timeframe we were told. Food was lovely and manager was very accommodating and helped me make sure I got food safe for my allergies!

The restaurant is a very quaint, traditional place which is very welcoming when coming inside. We were the first party to turn up about 6pm and by 7pm the place was full, approx 50 people can fit inside this small room and it heats up pretty quickly but it wasn't long before they put on the aircon. The food, wow, mouth watering and delicious! Cooked fresh and brought up to you piping hot! Attached are photos of some starters but I was too excited to eat my main to take a photo!
Overnight in Barnsley and sought out an independent restaurant. Romano's delivered big time! Excellent food, service, atmosphere and value. Superb family run Italian.

Really enjoyed our meal here last week. Can't rate the atmosphere too highly as there were only another couple of tables occupied. The food and service however more than made up for it. Always beautiful food every time we've been. The house wine is about £19 per bottle, but they are litre bottles instead of the usual 750ml, so not bad at all really.

Our first visit here but definitely not our last. We made a booking last minute and the team were very accommodating. We were welcomed as we came in and seated straightaway. The food came in good time, it was delicious and plenty of it. My daughter did not finish her meal (she's not a big eater and had eaten a couple of hours before we went out) and was asked if it was OK and whether she wanted something else. Fantastic service all the way in a lovely setting with a brilliant team working together.
