Incredible pleased with my visit to the restaurant, the staff are absolutely fantastic with people making the dinner experience even more special!
I cannot recommend it enough as it’s a fair price for a high quality food experience. Service is absolutely amazing with very friendly people around you all the time well done to the Favela’s team!

Visited this little Gem with my other half for afternoon date, honestly it was flawless, lovely and attentive service by staff, tasty food and nice atmosphere and lunchtime menu is reasonably price. We'll done to staff team at Favela. Highly recommended and will visit again

The food was beautiful! The selection of the salad bar is huge! I'd be happy to pay just to get stuff from there haha but the meat is what we come for! And it was gorgeous! Glad they have a great selection of meats that are cooked rare! And you MUST try their grilled pineapple! So make sure you leave some space for it in the end! 😁
The staff are wonderful too, always smiling always there if you need anything! We came near the closing time and we were the last people in there eating and they asked us a few times if we are happy and would we like them to bring out more of our favourite meats.
Make sure you come hungry, because you will leave bursting at the seams! 😁
We were a family of 4 and really enjoyed our dinner. The quality of meat is fantastic, the salad and side bar is rich and the service very attentive. Highly recommend.

After an unexpected change of plans, my family and I found ourselves at Favela, a Brazilian restaurant where a variety of meats are brought to your table as long as your marker is set to green, offered a continuous culinary delight.
As someone who has enjoyed this style of dining before, I was particularly impressed by the quality of the cooking at Favela. The beef, especially the rump and picanha cuts, were standout dishes for me, cooked to perfection with flavors that truly stood out.
The authenticity of the experience was heightened by the staff, who appeared genuinely Brazilian, adding an air of authenticity to the meal and clearly took pride in the cuisine they presented. The chicken thighs were another highlight, perfectly textured and flavored. The sirloin and lamb followed suit in excellence, leaving no room for disappointment.
While the salad bar was satisfactory, it was the meat that truly captured my attention, with its rich flavors and tender textures dominating the meal. A pleasant surprise towards the end was the cinnamon and sugar-coated pineapple slices, a delightful sweet treat that perfectly rounded off the meal.
Although the staff were noticeably busy, their friendliness and efficiency did not waver, contributing to a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
Favela provided an exceptional dining experience that was both unexpected and thoroughly enjoyed. The combination of exquisite meats, authentic atmosphere, and friendly service has ensured that we will certainly be returning in the future. Picture to follow.
I rarely feel comfortable taking my daughter anywhere alone she is SEN and the looks we get make her worse. Not only do the staff here go out of their way to help both me and my daughter, they also cater to genuine allergies. This means that my mum can join us and this helps my daughter feel more relaxed.
Their disabled toilet being actually restricted to those who are disabled helps me to avoid accidents too, overall I think the staff are amazing and those with disabilities (SEN or physical) can feel comfortable here and those with potentially fatal allergies like my mum can safely eat here without risk

Our first time experience in that place was just awesome. Everyone so kind and cheering. Explained everything, and really took care of us. Salad bar always full, and fresh, with a lot of yummy stuff (salads, veggies, lots of different cheeses, pickles, etc). Meat served every few minutes, lot of different types, so you really can choose what you like. Even children can enjoy this place- our 5yo son loved the food, and he have been happy about salad bar where he could find someting for him.
Alcohol drinks so yummy.
We visited this place for small family birthday dinner. We saw, how staff treat other "birthday table"- they sang and play happy bday song bring cake with candle. I don't like so much attention, and I have been so surprised when I received surprised cake with candle, and quiet happy birthday 💗 i don't know how they figured out that I don't like fuss, so really big tumb up from me for that.
I can't say something bad about this place. From very beginning, to the end everything was perfect 🥰 for sure we will visit that place again, especially that our son the very next day asked if we can go to this restaurant again, because the food was delicious.
Favela is an absolutely amazing restaurant and experience.
I've been twice with my wife and we've loved it both times.
Let's start with the service - waiters and chefs are attentive, alert, quick and incredibly personable. You feel well looked after the moment you sit down. You're given a choice regarding how your meat is cooked.
The restaurant is staffed well so you're never awkwardly looking for someone's eye.
The food - It is impeccable. Everything is clean, consistent and flavoursome. My personal favourite is the chicken heart. You must order ad-hoc on this, but trust me; it's absolutely worth it. It's a menu item most people don't try, so I'll highlight it in this review.

Best service ever. Sergio was the best waiter and it was my mums birthday. The chef and staff came to sing happy birthday to her! We gave Sergio 10£ and he even shared it with his colleagues!
Great food & service; I thought the steak was DELICIOUS & very filling. I haven't eaten anything since going here for lunch:-) I love the decor, music & food selection - I liked when they carved the delicious steak at your table! My companion could finish his feast so I finished it for him! Our advice is to not eat anything before coming as you will be eating for England:-)
Favela is a very authentic Brazilian experience.
I really enjoyed the service and food. The waiters are so attentive and fun to talk to. The atmosphere here is light and airy, with great music and ambiance.
The food is authentic and tasty. I got the all you can eat dinner menu on my visit. The selection of beefs, seasoned and cooked to my preference, is unparalleled.

Absolutely superb. Large restaurant in Barnsley town center. Second visit today with a small party.
There is plenty of space between tables so you don't feel crowded.
Once you are seated and have ordered your drinks which are brought to the table simply make your way to the extensive buffet area.
After you are seated the waiting staff will serve a large selection of meats and will keep returning until you turn the service card over (Each person has a small circular card, one side indicates you want to keep getting served with meat the other indicates you no longer want to be served more meat).
The food was excellent and we all enjoyed the whole experience.
The staff are very polite and attentive.
Prices are very reasonable.

Been several times and you get your money's worth in terms of food, quality and service. The salad bar is massive and varied, I highly recommend the mushroom stroganoff.
The meat is cooked to perfection and you can request specific colours, from very rare to well done if that's your preference.
Definitely visit if you're in the area.
