Great food. And big portions. Welcoming pub. Felt at home Kids and dog friendly. Garden at the front and back.. Certainly worth a visit.
Cash value below is drink only (had a few). Don't eat in pubs, me. Punters seem to like the grub, and yeah, there's a buzz. Very local, mind. Had a couple of blinding nights there. But the other day, yeah, very bad experience with the draught Italian lager. Gonna shut up, cos I'm known. So, yeah. I
Quick divert off route from Gatwick following a Google search for dinner. Very pleased. Atmospheric old pub with decent good value food and friendly staff. A hidden gem.
When enjoyed their outside patio. Most of the food was delicious. My partner will recommend their pulled pork burger. And we will say for the board with Sussex cheese and all on it. The perfect combination.
Very decent and honest food. Great service from the team who looked after our large group along with 10 children really professionally. Good selection of beer. đź‘Ť
Came here last night for a dinner with my fiancé, the staff were lovely and very on point! We didn’t even have to wait 10 minutes for our main after starters! Food was gorgeous! Definitely recommend! And will 100% be visiting again soon! Many thanks to all the staff and chef for a wonderful night!
I went to their classic car show and it was a really good day out
10/10 homemade desserts, lovely sun trap garden out back and benches out front. Low ceilings with exposed beams and huge fire place inside. Good selection of beers on tap. Right on downslink cycle route... gets v busy!
Family mini break (all adults) in the area, recommended to us ans was not disappointed. My wife's roast dinner could have fed two.. 6 of us quite happy with the food, service and the atmosphere..
Here for classic car show pub provided out side food and bar. A well organised event with a large number of cars on display.
Great village pub, staff are really welcoming and friendly, food was really good and well priced will definitely visit again but make sure you book this place is popular
Great pub in a beautiful village. There's a play area for older children in the beer garden.
I love this pub, the staff are always friendly, and the food is always top-notch. Whenever we are in the area, we always go in there and have never been disappointed. Keep up the great work, Ben
