Great food and a decent cup of Yorkshire tea. Next to a small car park and beside Greenberfield Locks, this is a super place to stop, grab something to eat and drink, and site beside the Leeds & Liverpool canal. It is very close to the top lock so watching boats going up and down in the locks is als
Lovely spot at the highest point of the Leeds Liverpool canal. Small car park, canal users' loos nearby, benches next to the canal, good range of snacks & drinks.
Brilliant place to start or pause for refreshments. No toilets? . Still wellworth a visit
I came to the Lock Stop Cafe at midday on my birthday with my partner on our bikes. In the evening my partner took me as a surprise to a fancy restaurant. So?
We both agree that the Lock Stop Cafe was much nicer, a nice variety of home made delicious sandwiches, nice cakes, nice location and very fr
Lovely location with a real friendly service with a smile. Lots on the menu and a great place to visit on a quiet weekday or when the sun is blazing in the weekend. Parking can get busy so one idea is to make this place your destination along the canal, stop for an ice cream then head back! The lock
Lovely little cafe. Had a lovely walk along the canal to the locks which was very picturesque. We had intended to have breakfast but unfortunately for us they didn't do food on a Friday. We did manage to have a lovely coffee and piece of cake.
A lovely oasis of good food, scenic location and friendly reception. I spent 4 days camping at the lock due to bad weather and I can’t thank Fay and Tony enough for their unstinting help and friendliness! Truly it was Bliss all the way!

Lovely little cafe. Stopped for a coffee, sandwich and cake. Friendly service and great food. Will definitely stop by again!
Small cafe with car park and grassed area at the side of the canal locks. Picnic benches and outdoor tables and seats, also a very small indoor seating area. No toilets! A lovely place to stop for a cuppa, cakes, toasted sandwiches or an ice cream. Beautiful walk along the canal bank towards Wes
Cracking stop for a decent cup of tea & delicious cake / scones / ice cream on the canal. Not to be missed if passing Greenberfield locks and well worth adding as a stop on your stroll. Tony & Faye are always happy to see you. Easy parking too if you're not on foot / cycling.
Lovely (couple?) And great food. Perfect after long time in the saddle doing Leeds to Liverpool canal route on bike.
Nice little takeawy cafe. It is in a car park. So you have to be careful with little ones if you sit at there tables. But there are more secure, public picnic tables near by. Lovely ice cream!
Tony and Faye who run this cafe serve a good selection of ice creams, hot n cold drinks and snacks. Sausage buttys are very good and the ice creams are very good lakeland ices. Open after April the 1st and friendly welcome too
