Whistle And Flute - Barnetby le Wold - Photo album

To be clear we went to the pub for food - we did not stay in the rooms. My partner got back late off of the train, we couldn't be bothered to cook so we popped our heads in to ask for a table. We're very glad we did. It is great. Lovely small local pub with a great "pub grub" menu. It's about as ex
A really lovely pub. The whistle and flute is clearly loved by both locals and visitors. Good food too; there is plenty of choice with belly filling portions without being expensive and a range of themed evenings available. I would recommend this pub to anyone visiting the area and with it being ver
Can't speak highly enough of this place! We ended up getting 2 last minute rooms whilst out hiking and the staff went above and beyond, the food was lovely (and filling) definitely have the breakfast if you're staying (it's absolutely worth it)
Stopped in for a bite to eat - warm bread rolls a bonus, the brie was excellent, the steak and ale pie nicely filling, and the flute and whistle burger was special 😉
Have visited a few times as it's a half way point for a friend and I to meet. Food is lovely, staff are friendly and accommodating, food is reasonably priced. Only thing is, because it is a hotel too, there is limited parking but saying that we've not had a problem yet.
Party of 5 all had a fantastic meal and drinks, hospitality is second to none :) Will definitely be back :)
Stayed one night. Nice place. Excellent food.
This was the first time I have been for a meal in this pub. The decor is quite dated. The toilets were nice and clean. The lady behind the bar was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. I had a small portion of steak and ale pie with chips and mushy peas. There was plenty to eat and it was
Brilliant meal as usual compliments to the Chef Sammy lovely atmosphere friendly host and bar staff
Perfect pub for a stop off straight as you get off the train at Barnetby station. Friendly staff goid service.
Always good food, reasonably priced and quick, friendly waitress service. Parking can be limited when busy. One small niggle - Why oh why do 'regulars' insist on sitting at the lounge bar restricting access to other patrons ?
Friendly and clean, food offering good and well priced
Very friendly welcoming staff and customers. Good selection of beers and appetising menu. Bedroom quite cramped and delivery of beer casks at 6am outside the window made for early awakenings.
Great local pub. Went there as well qerw staying in the area and it was up the road. Soga able to go into the bar so that was good. Staff friendly, ordered some food wow what a lot of it!! Well worth a visit. Will visit again soon hopefully.
I stayed here at the end of October, before a family holiday in East Yorkshire. The quality of service and food was so good that I booked a 4 night stay a month later. All the staff I've encountered are warm, friendly and welcoming. Being right next to the station, Humber Bridge and M180 simply add
The pub was busy with drinkers, but the atmosphere was good, and there were tables in a quieter area away from the bar for dining. Staff were very friendly and helpful, and the food was excellent, with substantial portion sizes, even for the "lighter" main meals, which I understand are based on Sli
I want to start by saying some of the reviews for this place are very harsh. Yes it does need a bit of a spruce up, some of the furniture very worn but this is a family friendly local pub not a fancy restaurant. The menu had a varied choice and we all found something we wanted for both starters and
Food was delicious. We saw the mixed reviews but we didn't have a car so decided to chance a meal here. We got a gammon and one of the specials of lime chilli chicken and both were excellent. The chicken was flavourful and moist. We'll definitely come back
