Once again the food was great - really good service with friendly staff and the beer is good - really recommend this place

There's very few places that are "kid friendly" and nice for adults to dine in with kids at the same time.

Whilst visiting my Brother and Sister-In-Law we took them to the Hadley House for a thank you meal. Upon arriving at the Hadley House we were made welcome straight away and as it was a Monday evening had the choice of seating. The staff were very friendly and professional. We all had starter's, Main course's and dessert's of which all were of a very high quality and standard. I would recommend the Hadley-House to every one who visits Barnet.
3 courses with a beer for £13.50 ! My Sunday roast was one of the best I've had, the beef was delicious and a generous portion. The chocolate brownie for desert was also delicious and very well presented. Staff and service also excellent. Will definitely be going back.
Love this place!! We have been a couple of times and will definitely be coming back. Relaxed ambience , great food, lovely staff and the kids enjoy playing here too. The perfect place for families to dine.
We ordered from the lunch menu which is absolutely amazing value for money! Both my partner & I had a stunning meal each with bread & olives. Cannot wait to come back again- very friendly staff!
Had my baby shower here at the weekend and it was amazing!!! The staff were so lovely and attentive, they helped put up all our decorations and everyone commented on how great the food was would highly recommend for a function and for dinner! I'm looking forward to another visit soon for some food ��
My friend and I had a great meal here last week. Fantastic food, great service. Somewhere you could meet your friends, have a romantic meal or take the family. All round top notch venue. Will be back again very soon.
Great place for adults & kids. Lovely climbing frame outside for kids plus a great room upstairs with lots of toys. We actually managed to have a conversation for once even with 6 kids !

Fantastic lunch menu - freshly cooked with healthy options as well. Very comfortable with friendly staff. £6.50 for one light course, drink and bread and olives to start. Great way to test the food. Definitely will be back one evening!
Adult family birthday. Menu was great, food was delicious, staff were really friendly. We took a cake and they put candles and bought it out for us even packing up what was left for us to take home. Great evening, will definitely return.
I hosted my 30th birthday here and they were so friendly and helpful! They have a new outdoor patio area with open plan seating and it was perfect for a large party! We all had a great night.. drinks were flowing and food was good! Would definitely recommend this place for celebrations! There’s a dj too on the weekends.
We came on a day where the venue was booked out for a party, but they still offered for us to eat outside in their garden. They put on the heaters, gave us blankets, and treated us so kindly. They really went out of their way to make sure we had an enjoyable meal out, and the food was fantastic (my Grandparents said it was one of the best steaks they'd had in years). It's rare that everyone at our table gets dessert, but we enjoyed every mouthful. The staff really made the experience so memorable, and I can't wait to bring more friends and family in the future.
Went for a meal for four with my wife and two children this evening and very pleasantly surprised by the food. Good choice on the menu, we ordered beef bourguinon, a margherita pizza, haddock and chunk chips, and a ravioli dish. Food was well prepared and tasty. Followed this with a couple of scoops of sorbet for dessert, and chocolate brownie with ice cream. All in, including two glasses of wine and a pint of Moretti, it came to £87 including good service. Would definitely return and recommend this to all.
Had such a lovely meal there and the service was great. Will definitely go back again.

We went for Sunday lunch - the food was absolutely brilliant, very tasty roast (slightly odd choice to have two huge mounds of different cabbage as the main veg, but both done well) - however I've marked down a star as the ambience definitely left something to be desired - we arrived at 1pm on easter Sunday and for a while were the only occupied table (we definitely hadn't needed to worry about not finding parking!). The music was club-like, definitely not your normal Sunday lunch music, and the signs outside were all advertising the club nights. In addition, there were still some sad Christmas decorations hanging. I suspect the music and advertising is putting people off coming here for lunches - which is a shame as the food is excellent.
I would also like to see a few more non alcoholic drinks - there are a couple of great mocktails but no other non alcoholic ciders or spirits which I would appreciate.
To summarize - I would absolutely recommend here for the food, but would suggest there's a few things that could be done by management to make this a more welcoming place for Sunday lunches!
The place is a hidden gem in Barnet. I have been there several times now, and the food has always been excellent. It is a lovely destination to visit on Barnet High Street!
Fresh food, large selection of cocktails, welcoming staff, a variety of places to sit from indoors historic, covered area with planting, or outside at the rear in wicker chairs.
Really lovely restaurant, excellent attentive service and the food was delicious! The happy hour specials on drinks is fantastic- we will definitely be back! :)
Decent place during the evening. Haven't tried their food. Drinks are good and reasonable price. Parking available on the street if you can find. Music could be better and outside smoking are could be cleaner as there was a few puddles
