Love it here! Great welcoming, friendly service and amazing food every time we come. Couldn’t ask for more when enjoying a brunch or light lunch. The selection of food is always on point and so fresh, always my first choice when grabbing a bite to eat down Cockfosters.
Yummy breakfast, big portions. Great Service, friendly atmosphere . Would definitely recommend for brunch/lunch/afternoon tea. You definitely need to try the almond cake, it was to die for!!
Heddons Kitchen is fabulous. Delicious food and drinks, all freshly prepared to order, with the freshest locally sourced ingredients and prepared exactly according to my individual requests. I cannot recommend more highly!

We were due to go into town to celebrate Mother's Day but due to weather decided not to. My hubby googled this restaurant and sent me the link as I am quiet fussy with my food. I looked at the menu and straightaway got him to book a table. I was pleasantly surprised with this lovely quirky caffe/deli. Great atmosphere, food was exceptionally good and the staff were just so friendly. Will definitely be coming again. I would 100% recommend this place

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Shakespeare, and I must say, it was an enchanting experience from start to finish. The decor, with its intricate details and an abundance of lovely flowers, was beautifully done. It added a touch of natural elegance to the overall ambience, creating a charming and inviting atmosphere that perfectly complemented the Shakespearean theme.
The staff deserves special commendation. They were not only friendly but also incredibly welcoming. Their knowledge of the menu and willingness to make recommendations made the dining experience all the more enjoyable. They where very patient as we couldn't decide and while waiting for us the make a decision they chatted with us and we didn't feel rushed.
Now, let's talk about the food at "Shakespeare" - it was nothing short of amazing. I had Shakespeare full breakfast with extra halloumi cheese and an ice latte with a shot of caramel and my friend had a fully loaded omelette with salad, chips and extra sausage and a English tea. Which we both enjoyed.

Loved the entire vibe of Shakespeare.
Went with my family to have Friday dinner. Very supportive staff, served with smiles on their faces. The cocktails were delicious, the main meals were 10/10 and starters were yummy too.
They also have a little swing thingy there which are great for pictures if that’s your thing.
I definitely recommend this restaurant. It’s a great place for kids and adults too.

The food was delicious with satisfying portion sizes. They have a great cocktail selection! i personally recommend the lychee martini.

Great food and drinks selection. The drinks took a while to come out, but the food was quick. Would defo go back to give some other dishes a try. Very picturesque decor attracting that instagram influencer. But down to earth once you are here. Recommend for a nice easy brunch 👌🏼
Ismail and Yasin, both had contributed to a wonderful experience at Shakespeare's, Cockfosters, North London. Two very humorous individuals who made us feel very comfortable providing us an almost bespoke service from describing the items on the Menu to talking about the best places to go on holiday in Morocco. Ismail has a wonderful and friendly demeanour to him, a natural in his communication style and a very funny young man. Yasin was very organised in ensuring we were seated correctly relaying our needs to the kitchen and overall made us feel very secure in our experience. Both were very funny warm and charming. I will be going back more regularly. Beautiful decor on the inside and is a wonderful location.

This is my new favourite place. Everything from the delicious food, prices and the amazing decor and lighting is brilliant. The staff are so kind and can't do enough for you. On the last few occasions we have been served by one man in particular, Ismael, has gone out of his way to ensure we had everything we needed. If you want your soul to smile go to this restaurant.
What a lovely place. We went on a Sunday and it wasn't busy. The toasted banana bread is one of the best deserts I've had. Staff were friendly and nice. They made sure they took our empty plates away so our table doesn't get full. The place was also warm. I definitely recommend this cafe as it's special.
I have had an amazing experience at shakespeare today the food is so tasty I had Turkish breakfast with my friends serpme!! Wow just wow, honestly so floral and unique. Nuray especially was so lovely shes a star and all the staff are so welcoming, thank you.
Food was lovely, service was great. It was my wife's birthday and they put on a little surprise, for which we are very grateful.
There were a few of members of staff that tended to us (who were all very welcoming) but mostly it was Julius, who was ever so friendly.

Really friendly staff. Ishmael and Sultan couldn't do enough to make sure we were happy. You really get a decent portion of food and vegetarians are catered for which is good news for me. They serve mezes mixed with meat so make sure you ask for them to me served separately but they were extremely happy to carer for our needs. The breakfast is superb, with the freshest bread .
Absolutely wonderful. Ismail was a brilliant waiter, his level of service was perfection. A kid friendly place and the Turkish breakfast is honestly one of the best Turkish breakfasts I’ve ever had. So plentiful and the demli cay was so tasty. Will definitely return to try everything else on the menu! Restaurant is beautiful and clean too.

I visited Heddon's Kitchen for the first time and was so impressed with everything from start to finish. The service started from the moment I walked inside. The owner was so friendly, fully attentive and made sure we were happy with everything. He reassured us that everything was wiped down and wiped down again in front of us. Everyone had masks on which was reassuring too at this time. Food was amazing, very good prices, tailored for all dietary needs (I am Vegan). Although, they were busy the service was great! Definitely recommend this place and will definitely be going back!
Amazing food at a reasonable price. Potions were great and presentation was on point. Very beautiful inside. Music was such a vibe. Will definitely come back to try other things on the menu.
