Amazing service and massive portions. Chef is very kind and offers to make you a dish that isn't on the menu to cater for your needs. Great staff and atmosphere, always come here with my friends and always have a lovely experience and a laugh with the staff. Would rate this place higher if u could.
Great value food. We had the regular and large English breakfast, the large coming in pretty large and even came with a warning from the waitress when we wanted to order it! Very nice midweek roast pork lunch. Huge portions. Tasty and cooked perfectly. Very friendly staff. Only thing to make an even nicer meal would be..warmed dinner plates. Would highly recommend and will certainly return. Thank you x
Great food and service. Ordered full breakfasts, mind out if you order the large.... it's not large, it's enormous. What a feed. Didn't manage to finish it, but tried my best. Highly recommended.
We were visiting barnard castle for a few days. We came here for breakfast. Lovely little friendly cafe. We had a full English. Excellent portions & all cooked fresh. Nice big pot of tea & Lovely coffee. Would definitely recommend. Parking outside in the morrisons car park
Four of us had a delicious Sundays carvery and would recommend this restaurant/ cafe to anyone who is visiting Barnard Castle. The staff are very friendly and welcoming, the food is superb and is worth a visit any day of the week.

Last week my husband & I tried the Christmas Menu with three choices for each section & it was so good we returned today for another go. All beautifully prepared & served by the hard working team. Simply delicious.
