Popped in for a bit of breakfast yesterday morning, should I go for the £4.80 one or the £6.00 one. Me and my wife Sue had a £6.00 one each, without doubt the best breakfast ever couldn't eat all the hash brown and left half a slice of toast. Will definitely be coming back in October to try everything else out, Fantastic place.
Popped in for dinner here last night, so glad we managed to get a table, both starter and main course were really tasty, admittedly we did have to wait a bit, but this by no means Is a criticism, good food is always well worth waiting for, we have tried to get in here before and it's always been packed and now we know why, great food at a very reasonable price. We tried a couple of welsh bottles of larger which apparently tastes so good as fairies helped make it... yum yum xx will def be back thanku xx
Visited with friends after a great time in the beach with the dogs. We’d been before so recommended Myrddins’ as the place to end our day in Barmouth...happily we were not disappointed. We five adults enjoyed Lamb Cawl (x2), Faggots, Steak & Moose Pie and Mushroom Wellington which we’re flavoursome, plentiful and served in warmed plates (something many restaurants fail to do). The two portions of Chicken and Gravy for Nero and Percy didn’t last long at all and both bowls were licked clean.
I highly recommend Myrddins’ own Dark Side of The Bridge which was very tasty and the perfect accompaniment to my mushroom Wellington.
Will definitely be visiting again this summer!
Our regular place for food , large selection of craft ales , top notch .
Visited Barmouth on 5th August 2017,found this delightful place, we had a superb lunch could not fault it, from the quality of the food, drinks, ambience and the service. It was a great end to a fantastic holiday. We will return!
Lovely little restaurant, great food, great staff and very dog friendly, he had chicken in gravy for a £1 that went to charity!!
Great selection of beers and ciders and very welcoming! Having now sampled the food, absolutely delicious, can’t recommend highly enough!
Lovely food, plenty to choose from on the menu including vegetarian options and a large selection ales. We will definitely be back

Lovely Steak and Moose Pie and Lamb Cawl today. Friendly and welcoming staff
We had an awesome breakfast here, the staff is lovely and we will come back again for sure for lunch
Delicious meal last night with friends. Tasty home cooked food and so reasonably priced, will definitely be back.
Great little venue with good range of real ales and excellent food using local produce
Delightful little micropub...staffed only by the owners. The food is basic but we'll priced and tasty, the ales were all in good condition, a great range of gins were also on offer...only minor criticism would be the temperature of the ale was just a touch too cold....but well worth a visit if in Barmouth.
Great little gem , friendly , homely, a real treat ! Always something new to try , well worth a visit.
Great choice of beers and gins. Sat outside one afternoon and sampled a few beers and tried the local pork pie which was delicious.
Only a small place so gets busy but definately worth a visit
Lovely bar with great choice of ale and cider
Brilliant little pub on the high street in Barmouth. Great selection of (mainly) Welsh ales. Also serves there own. Great selection of lillys cider..... Loads of flavours. Well kept ale... Great selection of spirits. Friendly service. Off sales also available. Highly recommended if your into your beers. If you pass and it's open then pop in as it has limited opening hours so make the most.. Highly recommended 🍻
Just superb ! Great food and 40 different beers. You have to wait a little bit but it is worth !!! Great atmosphere.
First time here we tried the different ciders. They have lots to choose from also homebrew ales, gins, vodka we will be definitely be back to try more.
Absolutely brilliant!!
Great choice of ale and cider. Good food, plus they really cater and welcome children and dogs with menus for both.
Thank you.
What a fantastic find. Beers are made in the morning at the brewery and sold in the afternoon in the tap bar brilliant. With very welcoming staff great Beers and a fantastic selection of gins. Simply heavenly 🍻
Lovely little bar. Lots of different ales and ciders, can get sampkes before you decide. Do bar snacks, but didnt try any this time . Dog friendly too.
A really quirky, family run brewery and distillery on the high street with a great selection of craft beers, gins, vodkas and rum. Also a scrummy but limited food menu. It’s only a small place, so limited seating but well worth seeking out. All beers, ciders and spirits are available to buy.
Delightful and bijou cafe, which specializes in local and self brewed craft beers & ciders. Excellent and tasty menu options. Wonderful customer service. Dog friendly.

Myrddin (pronounced Merthin) is Welsh for Merlin.
This small venue is akin to the beer cafés found on The Continent. It even has a nano brewery on-site!
House beer was nice and well kept. There was one guest beer on draught, there rest were in bottle, but there's a good selection of (mainly) Welsh breweries to choose from.
The lad on the bar was pleasant and polite as was the owner / brewer who came out to chat to me for a while.
Myddrins also serves food. The burger and chips was lovely and I was told by one of my party that the vegiburger was nice too.
Called in the other afternoon as staying nearby, the beer was nice and was nice to be able to sit outside watching the world go by. It was just a shame they close early in the evening as I could have sat there all evening as not much real ale in the village. Will come back again in the day when in the area.
Amazing food, the steak and moose pie was to die for, the draft beer is amazing and I love the fact that ingredients are local. Definitely would recommend.
Great selection of ales, well worth a visit for any beer lovers 🍻
More choice than you could possibly drink in one go. Welsh lager was a good choice
This is a lovely dog friendly little bar, selling really nice different ales, the pork pie is really nice and presented on a wooden plater with lots of little extras...loved it. ..
