Returned 2 weeks later and had a different starter, main and dessert just as excellent as the first time and the extra bonus this time is that Wednesday and Thursdays in July they have 20% off food! So an absolute bargain for such
Best pub around Cambridge - a must visit. Biggest complement is that everything is consistently 5*. Our favourite pub by a long way. Food is fantastic, service is always top draw and a superb cosy atmosphere. Also dog friendly!

We really enjoyed our visit to Fox and Hounds on Sunday for a roast. The service and staff were really friendly, efficient and quick. For starters we ordered duck terrine and salmon tartare. Terrine was flavoursome with layers of duck, carrot and leek. Quince jam complemented the dish really well,

Probably the best pub meal I've ever eaten. Such tender, tasty lamb and the scrumpet was a revelation. Everyone else said their meal was delicious too. Excellent friendly service in this wonderful old pub. Looking forward to our next visit
