We visited Wedgwood tearoom, what a lovely time we had. We had afternoon tea a vegan option and a straight option. The afternoon tea food consisting of sandwiches, scones and cakes πŸ°πŸŽ‚πŸŽ‚ was served on a 3 layer tray, sandwiches on the bottom plate, scones on the middle plate with clotted cream and jam, cake 🍰🍰🍰 on the top plate. The vegan option looked nice. There was a good range of tea served in a teapot that you could order. Tea Room was very beautifully laid out and staff will helpful and told you about the cakes and the sandwiches. Visited the Wedgewood museum, so many beautiful and nice pieces of pottery to look at with all the history dating back from 1735. You could easily spend the whole day just looking around the museum.

I had a surprise baby shower here. It had a secluded area which was a perfect size for our purposes. Staff very knowledgeable, friendly and seems like nothing is too much trouble. Not cheap (we had the afternoon tea) but well worth the money. So beautifully decorated and the Wedgwood China is stunning. Toilets accessible but a little walk from the cafe.

We had a really enjoyable birthday celebration afternoon tea ( group of five ). All of the staff were excellent : helped with the dietary requirements within the group , very friendly , excellent service and contributed to making the afternoon feel very special and memorable. I would definitely come back. Big thank you to the Wedgwood tearoom team.

We booked afternoon tea for 3 for my birthday. We were promptly shown to our table ( near the waiting on station) so I asked if we could sit on a vacant window table. The waitress went to check if it was OK for us to be seated there. This took several minutes but it was OK. After a few minutes another waitress took our order. I love Darjeeling tea and it has a bearing on where I choose for afternoon tea. When it arrived we had to ask the waitress for cups!! She brought them without spoons so I got up to take some from a vacant table. The tea stand was brought out and just placed on the table with no explanation of what it consisted of so I asked for a menu. When I poured my Darjeeling it was obviously the wrong tea as it was very dark and strong tasting. Darjeeling is golden and light. I asked for another pot. When this was brought I had to ask for another cup as I had already poured some of the other tea in to my cup. Savouries very nice but nothing out of the ordinary. We ate the scones ( no butter served) and the posset and took the fancies home in a box ( think the waitress forgot to bring them until she saw us still sat there after we'd paid) Service very slow and lacking in pleasantries. The surroundings are very stylish, clean looking and bright although the rug under our table looked flattened, dull & in need of a good vaccuum. The crockery and cutlery -beautiful ! The same items available in the shop to buy. Not sure I would return.

Had been hoping for a cream tea but they'd run out of scones so selected a trio of desserts instead and tea which all came perfectly served, as one would hope on Wedgwood china. Very pleasant!

Our food was delicious and well presented, but service was slow and our server was very forgetful. The velvet seats were stained with coffee/tea stains and looked shabby. Atmosphere was calm and serene but prices were very high for what we had. Won't rush back, I'm afraid
