I will come back here just to eat the amazing pizza. There was a bit of a wait for the food but that wasn't a problem because the food was clearly made fresh and tasted fantastic

lovely lunch here today, great service and we and our pooch were made to feel very welcome. Food service isnt speedy, but, its cooked to order and well worth the little wait. And reassuring to know they cook from scatch as i have a nut allergy so eating out can often prove to be stressful. Well already planning our next trip xx

Highly recommend this place, seasonal menu, great ale selection, fresh seasonal produce, friendly helpful staff and a great menu. Popped here on way to London, well worth coming off the highway for this little gem. The pepper squid well worth a shout and they allow children also. We will be back for sure. Ditch the service station and make your way here for sure! Also great art in this artisan pub!

A really lovely country pub, the food was superb and the service was very warm and welcoming. The prices seemed very reasonable, and the interior and exterior decor were really striking. I would certainly recommend it and go here again, however the separate locations on Google for the food and bar are a bit confusing!

DOG FRIENDLY 👍👍👍 Lovely pub. Quite modern. Great food and prompt service. Dog biscuit and water for my pooch. Tiger beer on tap. Clean bathrooms. All conveniently off the M40 J15. Will be visiting again.

We had excellent service for my mums wake. The price per person was just right with an array of freshly made sandwiches and beautiful home baked cakes. Being coeliac I was offered a separate, covered sandwich selection and a gluten free home made cake that all could enjoy along with normal cakes too. The service was also very friendly and welcoming.

Popped in here on our way to a short break after seeing it here on Google. Was certainly not disappointed. The staff were so friendly and helpful, and the food was superb. We had two different pies, and both were beautiful. Was a lovely touch with cakes on offer for dessert but that supported charity. Would definitely visit again.

Thank you so much for allowing us to hold a wake at your lovely pub. The food was delicious and beautifully presented in a cosy oak beamed room. Your staff are a credit to you. Highly recommended.

Nice atmosphere, attentive staff but not bothersome. Interesting menu, a bit old fashioned country pub style rather than the usual pub grub, for instance game pie, liver and bacon and traditional ham, eggs and chips.

I highly recommend The Granville Arms. We had an absolutely fantastic time at my wife's surprise 40th birthday party! Tim was incredibly helpful in arranging this via phone and email, and nothing was too much trouble. Adult and children's menus were received ahead of the day to choose from, which the chef had customised to my requests. Named place settings allowed easy allocation of food when serving, and made it easy for everyone's bills to be calculated at the end. 'The barn' function room was the perfect private venue for the 40 or so guests, but could easily hold more. Exposed brickwork and roof beams, along with fairy lights, made a cosy setting. There was access to a small area of grass for the children to play on, with a few outdoor toys. We were allowed to bring party banners and balloons to put up prior to guests arriving. The food was great. Exactly as everyone had ordered. Tim and has staff gave excellent service, and nothing was too much trouble. The birthday cake made by Lynn, the assistant manager, was amazing! A two-tiered cake for 50 people (but still plenty taken home). Very convenient to have that service available too!
