Good selection of unique beer. Ideal setting by the side of the Shroppy. The food is well cooked and good sized portions. The waiting staff are exceptional. I always stop there for the night when cruising the Shroppy.

Fish and chips at a pub is always a gamble I think but this was the nicest fish and chips I’ve had in a long time! Staff were really flexible and helpful when our son didn’t fancy anything on the kids menu (it was a bit boring to be fair as most pub kids menus are) Lovely food, lovely staff, would visit again if in the area.

We had lunch at the Barbridge Inn and the food was good. The fish and chips meal was delicious. Service was a bit slow but still very good. The toilets were clean. Great access to the canal.

Visited Barbridge Inn for lunch with my dad. A lovely old pub in a picturesque setting. Sat inside although there is a lovely garden overlooking the canal with lots of seating. We had a lovely view of the canal and the passing barges. Good choice of meals. Staff very friendly and helpful. Food was delicious. Prices reasonable. Will be back soon.

Best tasting food I've had in a long time. The barnsley chop is highly recommended. I couldn't get enough and cleaned the bone as you can see. Great value, great service, great location.

Came in with the intentions of getting a Sunday Roast. And we were not disappointed! Great plate of food, good selection of veg and a massive yorkie. Meat was perfectly pink. And lovely and tender. Can’t ask for much more than that really. Had sorbet for afters and it was great. Had Thatchers Zero which I haven’t seen before so tried this. A lovely alcohol free cider, great for when you are the designated driver 😂 Thoroughly recommend!

Went for a drink this afternoon. The food we saw looked nice. Lovely outside space, climbing fame for the kids to keep them occupied with a lovely view of the Shropshire Union (Middlewich section) Canal with narrow boats moored up and some cruising by....

Fantastic food, carvery was delicious and plenty to eat, great dessert selection with a twist on the normal desserts. Great service when sat down but slightly slow in clearing plates, ordering dessert/drinks and getting the bill (even though it wasn't busy particularly!). Would visit again and enjoy it! Good playground for children and was great for our boating friends.

We popped into Barbridge Inn as we were Moored up outside on the Canal. We were Cold, Wet and Hungry. But it looked very busy, so I rang to try to book a Table for 4. I spoke to a Very Friendly young who said "We are Busy, but come over we'll sort you out" and she was True to her Word, ALL the Staff were very Friendly and Helpful. We ordered our Food n Drinks, Service was spot on and The Food was Delicious and piping Hot. All 4 of us Thoroughly enjoyed our Meals. A very Special Thank you to Ester and Meg, but ALL the staff were Fantastic right Down to the Excellent Chef, sorry didn't catch his Name. THANK YOU Barbridge Inn, we are arranging to Drive back the 37 mls just to Sample their Wonderful Hospitality Again.

We had lunch with friends. They have large and small portions options on some meals. Kids menu and seniors menu. Staff are lovely and attentive, without being intrusive. Food is wonderful. We're returning for a meal 1/12/22 for our wedding anniversary 😋

Staff recommended nachos and they were very good. Had both lunch and dinner there. It did go dead quiet around 930 on a week night and the door got locked behind us!

Best proper steak pie. Absolutely amazing full of flavour with tender meat. Would recommend anyone to eat at The Bainbridge Inn especially pie lovers. All the meals I have had here over the years have been exceptionally good. Beers and the service is impeccable.

A canalside pub with gardens and views you would expect. Friendly staff and good selection of ales as well as the usual beers and lagers. Everywhere was clean with the usual canal photos on walls and a nice quirky touch that all the tables and chairs were different. Not a lot of atmos for 8 on a Saturday evening but it was out of season and I wouldn't class it as a 'local'. I'm sure in the Summer it's heaving. A fairly good choice on the menu if you're a carnivore, if you're Veg or Vegan you're limited. The food was good, the service was attentive but not overbearing and the prices were reasonable for the location. Thanks.
