Fish, chips and (yes I’m weird) curry sauce..batter to thick and so was the curry sauce, tasted nice but it’s getting very expensive for fish and chips these days, service was quick and friendly and you can eat in if wish…would I visit again??? Not sure as the prices kind of put me off…
I've never eaten a real British Fish & Chips, so I find it acceptable. Maybe it's just the typical Brits bland food. But the curry sauce is super nice, the fish is fresh, no funny smell, and they fry it nice and crispy... Which is a plus.
Really nice pies, chips were made from really decent potatoes so were fluff, only disappointed that they were not the battered variety that we get in the Midlands. The Chinese curry sauce was amongst the best I have eaten, was very very tasty.
I ordered from my lorry on just eat and my food arrived 30 minutes early. Incredible food and great service and they even sent me a little freebie and a note. Exceptional service and quality. Will definitely be using again.
Always good service and food from here. They run a sleek in and out process. My only criticism would be trying to get through on the phone is near impossible in my experience
Great quality fish (cod), chips far from the best
We only needed 3 large portions of chips so not much to judge, but they were lovely and portion was generous. Young dark haired lady serving was a bit quiet - not really wishing to provide a welcome or goodbye - perhaps she is a bit shy. My parents had fish and chips a week or so prior to this and t
I travel a lot with work and I live in London, I have been to this fish and chip shop for 3 nights whilst here in Bar Hill Cambridge and have to say the service from the young team has been professional and courteous and lovely , the manager was superb and the fish and chips were the best I’ve ever
It's very good but they sometimes won't have half their menu. It isn't rare to go in and find out that they don't have any spicy chicken or aren't doing chicken burgers that night. Still nice food but just a shame that it's a bit of a gamble on what parts of the menu will be available when you visi
A little on the pricey side, but great fish & chips, tasty curry sauce and great service. We enjoyed dinner so much we came back the next day for lunch!
Love the gluten free days at this chip shop the food is freshly cooked and so good. Friendly staff and good service.
Probably the best chip shop I have been to, and I have been to a few. I had a battered sausage and regular chips and they were fantastic. Great price too. I tried my partners curry sauce and it was delicious. I highly recommend. Disabled access with plenty of room. Also there was an Utomated o
Took ages for our food to be prepared...guess it's our own fault for coming around Friday evening. But it was worth the wait! The standards haven't changed since I went there over 10 years ago. The fish and chips were delicious. The portions left me and my family in a food coma for a while.
Fresh cooked very tasty fish & chips. Deal on Mondays. Chicken deal on Wednesdays. Best curry sauce we've ever had although a tad overpriced @ £2.65 a large pot, still extremely tasty though. Various choices on the menu and generous portions. Quite a few tables to dine in. Toilet for diners. Always
Made good use of the order ahead function on the website so that if were any queues we would skip them. It wasn't too busy when I arrived and was served promptly and the food was ready to take out within 5 mins. The food when we got back home was still warm and most of us enjoyed the food. We prefer
Excellent dry crisp fish and chips. Nice clean seating area.
