Food soooo amazing and fresh. Best I’ve had outside Thailand. Staff very friendly but bless them they were run off their feet, still managed to have a good rapport with the table though. Will be back…would tomorrow be too soon.
Happened to be in Bangor and stumbled into this place, while looking for another. It was fate! We managed to sneak in before the dinner rush and watched others get turned away. Make a reservation! The food was great and came out in a very timely manner, which is very important to us, as we have young children. I worked at a Thai restaurant before and ordered a couple of my favourite things. While a bit different from what I was used to, I was still very happy with my food. My wife was also very happy with her dish. We look forward to going there again, if we are in the area.
Lovely small restaurant with selection of dishes from Malaysia, Indonesia and Vietnam. Good options for vegetarians and if you ask for vegans as well. Very fresh. BYO wine
Visited here with my wife for dinner last week. Food was excellent especially the scallops and squid starters. Service was very hit and miss - started off brilliantly but then had to wait a good 15 minutes before being asked if we wanted any desserts and then another 20 minutes for the bill to come after having to ask twice. I don’t necessarily blame the staff as they were just very busy with a full restaurant and you could see they were struggling to get tables re laid for guests coming in and really trying hard, but maybe would have been worth another staff member being with them to take some pressure off, which is why I have given 4 stars and not 5. Will not put us off from coming back again though as it was overall a very nice and enjoyable evening.
I can safely say this is the best Thai meal I've had in a while! Lovely wee place with a great atmosphere. All freshly cooked with tasty fresh ingredients. Lots of vegetarian choices too. They also do mini versions for any kids you bring with you.
Note that they don't serve alcohol, it's bring your own.
It was really busy when we went on Thursday night so would be worth booking. They ask for a deposit when you book but they just take it off you bill at the end.

Loved the place. We had to wait for our table, but I’m happy we did as the food was brilliant and the food was rather flavoursome.
Really perfect Thai with lots of choice. Great room - very busy on the weekend so go on a week day if you want something more romantic! The Pad Thai (quite spicy) and Massaman curries were fresh and tasty all with option of chicken prawn or beef. We also had the Thai crispy shredded beef - an absolute must. Crunchy sticky and a little bit spicy. It's BYO so come prepared with your own beer or wine.
Never disappoints! We return time and again. If you are in Bangor City or even Newtownards this is a must visit! Mango Chicken delish 👍 and the chips were wonderful, crispy on the outside and fluffy inside 😍
First time at tuk tuk bangor and will definitely be back. Food was amazing and I highly recommend the curry puffs and the crispy beef. My partner had the duck wraps and the massaman curry. Both dishes were very flavoursome with fresh ingredients used in all dishes. The Salt and Chilli chips are a must!! Service excellent from the welcoming to the end. Couldn't recommend it enough
Amazing food and great service. If you’re after great Asian fusion food in Bangor this has to be at the very top of your wish list. Well priced and super tasty - will definitely be back.

Very busy and it is annoying being made to leave, to give your table up, especially when being out with a big party. Lovely food. Would recommend if you don't like hanging about after you've your feed 👍

As the Bangor Marina crew, we decided to have our staff Christmas dinner this year at Tuk Tuk (just across from the marina). The food was full of flavour and offered all of us a real Asian dining experience. (To the chef - I've had lots of chilli squid and satay dishes - yours are the best I've tasted ) All our dishes were served promptly and with a smile The service was exemplary. A very sincere thanks from all of us, we had a most enjoyable evening - a Christmas staff party to remember. Thank you, we will definitely be back.
