Star Of Bengal - Bangor - Photo album

Hidden gem of Bangor. When you want authentic Indian food, head here. The picture is a mixed starter platter for four and tastes as great as it looks.
We only ever order online. James prepared our food and it was very very tasty and good portions as well. We have tried several other places, but only order from Star of Bengal because of their consistency and value for money.
Have used this restaurant many times.Sam the owner always looks after us well. Food is always extremely tasty and generous portions. Sometimes service is a little slow but it's always well worth the wait. Will be back again soon and highly recommend this restaurant to all who like great authentic In
The best Indian in bangor! Delicious food and exceptional service. We will be back! :)
This is the best Indian takeaway in Bangor. We love it! Biryani and Jalfrezi are particularly highly recommended.
Best vegetarian Indian in Bangor by far and I've tried them all ! Lentil dahl, spinach paneer, vegetarian curry and mushroom rice, chips all absolutely gorgeous. The types of vegetables they use in the veggie dishes and the variety are superb. My partner is a meat eater and says every meal he has ha
Ordered at 9.30pm. estimated delivery was 10.30pm and arrived at 10pm. Very impressed. I used to order from Bengal but hadn't for a couple of years due to moving. The balti was as good as it used to be if not better. So flavoursome and fresh corriander on top which you never get from any takeaway. S

The food was tasty and the service was excellent
So I was served both mild Chicken Korma, with boiled rice, & also a cup of hot chocolate., whenever I visited the Star of Bengal. So, both the food & the cup of hot chocolate , weren't bad; at all So furthermore & finally, they were served by staff, who were both friendly, & welcoming, to me. So, t
I've been going here for many years - without a shadow of a doubt, it does the best Indian food in Bangor. Their Pathia and Kufta curry are second to none! 👍🏻
Quick delivery and steaming hot. Delicious as usual 😋 I highly recommend
Can be quiet as it's a bit out of the way. Still has good food and friendly staff but now it's all BYO, they no longer have their limited drinks list. Worth checking out.
Beautiful food take away or dining in people so friendly nothing to much for them don't be frightened to take away here you will enjoy. I'm fussy.
First time here but had been strongly recommended. Lamb tiki with salad and house sauce. It was to die for -- lots of really lovley lamb, the sauce, amazing and I have never had Indian bread as good. Will definitely be back. Open until 11 pm and Friday abd Saturday until 12 just brilliant.
