Went there last month during mid-day. Not much activity when I visited, but the place is really nice looking and got a good selection of drinks and food on the menu.
God willing I'll visit again sometime when it's more busy

Food was fantastic, staff were amazing and kindly nipped across the road to get Coke for the cocktail I was wanting! Fantastic service and reasonably priced! We will definitely be back! Thanks! :) x
All I can say is excellent service, in for dinner, drinks kept coming, we intended to move on to a pub but Chris kept us in, Ireland won, which helped, our food was a hair long, which is to be expected in Bangor’s best bar, Chris has us well looked after, if I was senior management, I’d see this man
Great pub to stop at in Bangor, recently has had a bit of work done. Price's are about average. Food is good as well. But have to Question reservation of tables 4 hours before booking 🤔. 👍👍
In on a Thursday night, very quiet, pleasant staff, good service. I had the sea bass, plenty of fish good value.
Treated by our daughter to a meal in the downstairs bar. The food was delicious with really generous portions. Will definitely be back again, thank you!
We usually spend our Sundays here. Staff are great, food is grand, beer/drinks selection is also fantastic.

Food was lovely and the staff very attentive. If I have a gripe (and it's not really) a wee bit more variety. When I was there before you could get 3 starters for 15 pounds but there was more choice. The food we had was really lovely. 👌

Friday steak night is just fabulous brilliant value for money
Had a superb meal here a couple of nights ago. The waiting staff were friendly and attentive and the atmosphere was very pleasant. Highly recommended - I'll definitely be back!

But the atmosphere for a Friday was pretty cool. Not a massive pile of people, but we made our own fun☺️. Music was great and we tortured the DJ! Great fun night out 😌
Went into it after having a meal elsewhere. Just about got a seat but the atmosphere and the entertainment was electric. The first group that was on was like an Irish rock and after them at about 10pm was a DJ who played every genre of music. Excellent.
Great fish and chips. Service was excellent. Thank You Kaya and the rest of the staff. I had a pint of the local brew Chieftain. It was brilliant.
