We have a very nice evening at the coq & bull at the Clandeboye. Everything was just as you would want it. Relaxing atmosphere, nice staff, no rush, good bottle of wine and then a great dinner. Highly recommended for an evening out.
George and I had meal here today.
George had the burger on mushroom with chips.I had chicken and chickpea soup with sourdough bread and then vegan sticky toffee pudding on pineapple with ice cream.
Lovely meal and waitress very pleasant and helpful.
Have been here a couple of times and definitely be back.
My son and his wife had their wedding here 8years ago.
Food was absolutely amazing the 'fish and chips" was the best I have ever had ❤️ the service was extremely attentive without being tortured
We usually come here when there's a special family occasion. The food is consistently excellent, the staff are very helpful and friendly and the prices are reasonable. Highly recommended.
A very fine establishment, the staff are personable, professional, proper and proficient. The food is exquisite and the surroundings cosy, very clean, interesting and moreish. I’d love to stay here and hit the 20 barrels Pinot Noir hard - it’s delightful.

3rd visit here, hidden gem just outside Bangor. Food is amazing, highly recommend the Lamb. All meals paired with a wide selection of wines (perfectly). Staff can't do enough to make sure you have everything you need. Great parking.
It's one of only two places I enjoy eating out in Bangor now.
This is our regular family pre Christmas gathering spot. Also great for the special celebration events in between.
When it's an important occasion, it is vital that you know it will deliver, and it does. Every time.
Staff are simply faultless, and the food is always top-notch. Always warm and comfortable. There is plenty of car parking too.

Went to coq & bull for dinner with some.girls food and service was excellent we sat afterwards in their beautiful conservatory for coffee would highly recommend it
