Excellent food and good atmosphere. Friendly staff, up beat but pool table is desperately in need of levelling! Impressed with mixed grill and peppercorn sauce . Great value and cooked perfectly. Highly recommend.
Nice enough pub in the centre of Bangor with reasonable prices. We didn't have food but it looked fine going out. Quick, friendly service. Perfect for what we wanted on Saturday.
Came here for a couple of beers and food with my partner. The food was lovely and I thought It was good value for money the beer was nice . The woman who was working was very polite and friendly . Are tables were clean we will be coming again when we’re next in the area .

When I was a student in Bangor, Castle was my go to place for drinks and food. Even though I've graduated, it's still my favourite pub and that's mainly because of the staff. I want to give a specific shoutout to Aidan, who gives each customer the same stellar service and makes everyone feel welcome
We had the deal burger and drink for £7.99 it was really good and worth the price. The lady who served us was nice and friendly. Just the table that we sat on was sticky and quite smelly.
Food is always good and the castle pub quiz is always a good night out! Always good to see Aidan behind the bar too, always puts our orders on the right SU tab without us having to ask!
Had food in the afternoon which tasted great, then came back in the night for a few drinks with my mates and it had a great atmosphere there! Will definitely be returning!

We visited on a Thursday afternoon for lunch. There were only a few people in there but staff were on hand to quickly see to us- for a bar it was very clean. Quick service, the food we ordered was tasty - we were happy with our visit

Sports bar with nice food, quite big
