Used this chip shop as we are on holiday . The chips were out of this world and so we're the fish. There was a language barrier but apart from that a perfect place for food.

Not local but needed take-away while in the area. Well cooked & great presentation in a box sectioning off the fish from chips, so no oil drippage from fish onto the chips. Eaten a lot of fish & chips recently on the road and this was definitely one of the better ones. Thanks!
One of the best fish and chip places around Bangor! I've tried a few chippies in the area now and this is now my go-to. It's reasonably priced and the food is always high standard, with good portions. The gravy, Chinese curry sauce and the battered fish is all 👌🏻 spot on. I think it's a family that own it and they're always on it with the service, very efficient and I've never had the order be wrong- even with a large group although the queues can get a bit long. Parking can be a bit tricky if it's busy too. There's a little off licence next door which is handy though for buying a few accompanying bottles of something while you're waiting!
Fast service, fish and chips were not greasy. The batter was light and you could tell it was fresh, the portions are greatly sized and are quite generous, definitely worth the price which is quite reasonable. needed a bit more vinegar but over all great meal as always.
Friendly staff and portions of a good size, so certainly value for money.
Food a little inconsistent ... on one occasions the fish was a little oily, and another the fish was perfect but the chips were slightly undercooked.
Out of all the fish and chips that me and my family have tried, this shop is by far the gest and one of our regular takeaways. Their portion size is huge for starters and it's so good!
Best takeaway ever. We were staying up the road and came across it by chance. Portions were deliciously fresh and enormous. The chips/rice/curry sauce option was INCREDIBLE.
Great chippy. Easy to find. Easy to park. Only snag..... cash only. Tiny sign in window. Food was excellent!
My son got me fish and chips from here last Friday and I've got to say it was delicious. Nicely cooked good portions of fish and chips and very clean reasonable prices. I'll make this my local chippy from now on

Not as good as it was under previous owners, especially the fish, which used to be cooked to order. The later you go in, the soggier the chips and batter seem to be. On the whole though, the food is nice.
