Thank you to the team for fitting us in for Sunday Lunch, really enjoyed our roast dinner!
Food was good, we had the pork & a veggie roast. Great stuffing, good Yorkshire, excellent mash. Price was what I’d expect to pay for a roast.
The staff member was very friendly, welcoming & helpful.
Overall we had a great time.
The pub is cosy & the dining area was homely, very much like you’re sat in someone’s living room, could do with a little touch up, but ultimately didn’t detract from the experience.
Nice pub with great food - portions are huge though! I shouldn't have had a starter! Lovely friendly staff and relaxed comfortable atmosphere
Really nice pub, food and drink was amazing. They even went above and beyond to cater for my fussy girlfriend! Staff were very friendly and genuine; the manager Paul made us feel very welcome. Definitely recommend this place
Lovely local friendly place. The bar Manager( he's great) and barstaff are very welcoming. Foods awalys good here. The view in garden is one of the best in Bangor for a alfresco lunch or after a walk a long the pier.
Great pub! Lovely landlady, good beer choice, food is awesome! Which is always amazes me as I'm a vegan and by definition usually hard to please with my dietry requirements. Bar staff are really friendly. All round fantastic pub!
Absolutely fantastic little gem of a place!! We sat outside admiring the stunning views and were served by the loveliest lady who even brought out her baby bunnies for our kids to have a cuddle with. The food was also great too, the burgers and yakisoba were heavenly and incredibly reasonably priced. I couldn't recommend a visit highly enough, if I could give 10 stars I would!!
Lovely refurbished Boatyard Inn, visited in the evening. Great choice of drinks, nice Pint of Larger to Beefeater Gin + more. Stunning views of Bangor and Straits. Very polite and courteous staff. Professional public house.
Excellent quality of food. Managed to fit us in on Mothering Sunday despite not booking at peak time. Said we’d need to vacate by a certain time but the management were dynamic and used the fact that another reservation hadn’t turned up to put the booking elsewhere. Extremely friendly waiting staff, cleanly dressed to complement the clean and airy vibe of the tasteful decorated interior. Very warm and inviting on what was a grim day with good views across the harbour. Excellent Sunday roast with generous portions at a reasonable price. Good desserts and drinks selection (local ales), again at good price. Would definitely recommend and return.
A wonderful lunch served in this very warm welcoming pub right on the waters edge of the boat yard . It was too cold to sit out today- well it was december ! But we still had a great lunch the pies were a real hit with our men and chicken Mediterranean and fish n mashed potato wete really good too - wonderful friendly staff and kevin the dog we will return soon - thankyou !! X
I visited here with my husband and James, this was their second visit. I really enjoyed my visit and wished I could come back a second day. Good range of drinks and the menu was lovely. Food was amazing, but maybe slightly over generous. You won't leave hungry. Super flavours. Absolutely loved it. Staff were very lovely x
Has a beautiful meal with a friend this evening, I am a fussy eater but I every crumb of food! The inside is lovely and if you sit on the patio outside there is a gorgeous view. The staff were very welcoming and helpful, we not not kept waiting and they put up with all my questions about the food
Very nice pub/restaurant. It wasn’t busy when We get here in the middle of October , actually we were the only customers, but the Lady who served us was very nice. It’s easy to see this place full in summer time. 👍 🏴 just lovely
Did not stay, wish I could! Excellent venue, staff welcoming, attentive and offering excellent service. Food was superb and the proprietors obviously know how to operate their cellar. All in all a brilliant pub, almost too good. Can recommend.
Very good street food available, restaurant menu very limited, none the less, staff were great very helpful and friendly. Very nice price on drinks. Overall I would return :)
Great place to eat, food you could not fault. Very welcoming landlord, his wife and staff. We will be back. Also had vegetarian unexoectedly in our company, she was fully catered for.
We had a lovely afternoon in the boatyard today x very friendly staff we personally didn't eat but the food looked amazing. Special thanks to the three little girls who were brilliant in using old boxes to play in and for the sweets they were amazing xx mwah
Lovely views, good beer and the carvery on a Sunday is fantastic. We had a choice of five meats, we had no extra cost for having all five. Kid friendly and a great atmosphere for everyone.
