Yes it's good , slight flaws but on the whole it's good Firstly it's let down a little by it crockery , although it looks nice and artisan . It's chipped of the glazing is cracked ! Secondly it's let down by its opening hours and not open at night This is a great place for breakfast and lunch with healthy ish meals and amazing tapas with divine salad . It's price range is shall we say manchester prices for a essentially a cafe Also do take aways

I was in Bangor on a work event to climb Snowdon and the surrounding peaks, and we headed out for a hearty meal the night before. There were quite a lot of us, and this wee place coped admirably with such a large party. The service was prompt and friendly and we had a great night. The food for everyone looked great, with burgers and chips being particularly popular and the puddings looked amazing. They catered well for me too, providing some good vegan and wheat free choices. For starter, I had some gluten free bread, with houmous and salad, and main was a casserole of oven roasted vegetables, served with rice. All very tasty, and exactly what was required before our epic climb.

Agree wholeheartedly with the two reviewers below - best lunch in Bangor and the tapas platter is highly recommended. It's the only time I manage to reach my 5-a-day of fruit and veg! Great selection of other dishes too.

This is a lovely cafe/tapas bar situated on Waterloo Rd, hence the name. They do a pre-dominantly cold tapas platter with some hot meals which is delightfully presented. For about £8, you get a choice of 3 tapas dishes from a list of about 16, but you also get a large square plate full of cut fruit and salad vegetables, from grapes, bananas, pineapples, apples, radishes, peppers, lettuce, cucumber, as well as a warmed ciabatta with a lovely sweet chilli sauce. Even for a big eater like myself, this will feed the hungriest of people. The tapas are in bowled set over the fruit/salad. They also have some nice fresh cakes...and the lovliest Carrot Cake i have ever had. In a city lacking in nice places to eat..this is a place i would highly recommend.

Decent spot hangout for breakfast / brunch. Wasn't very busy, plenty of tables, service was good. Full breakfast was good value. Also shared a waffle with my guest. Satisfied.

A cosy dog friendly cafe! Lovely staff and delicious cakes/desserts. Wish they had more vegan milk options, but other than that, pretty cafe! Would recommend!

Nice and cozy cafe in the center of the town. Service was excellent. We had our luggages there and used the wifi for a few hours. We ordered full welsh breakfast and then hanged out there while waiting for our departure train. Also ordered tea and the best tasting chocolate cake. A slice of it was huge, but I finished it. 🍫🍰💪

Cannot rate 1815 highly enough! Honestly such a great cafe that pinches way above its weight. We visit regularly now for their Sunday Carvery, probably the best in North Wales! (Definitely the best in Bangor). Excellent food & selection of meats/veg (and veggie option), great price & lovely staff. Highly highly recommend popping along on a Sunday.

Me my partner and my 2 year old daughter went today for the first time. We arrived and didnt know we had to book in advance due to them being so busy but the staff were so friendly and helpful they managed to fit us in without having a booking. Me and my partner both had the large carvery which was exceptional the meat melted in your mouth and the honey parsnips was to die for they even gave my daughter a small bowl free of charge which we was so thankful for as she dont eat much. I would actually give more than five stars if i could it was a really warm welcoming friendly place to take the baby and the food was out of this world it was better than the big establishments like toby carvery and it was really well priced. We enjoyed so much that now we know we needs to book we have booked in advance for next sunday.

Really nice food and big portions - We went at lunch time mid week and it was absolutely packed, there were only 2 waiting staff members there - they were great but it was so busy there was a bit of a wait to order/receive our order. Nice decor also

They served a lovely lunch which was fairly priced. Staff was friendly and helpful, and the food was served promptly. Clean dining room and prob would have given 4.5 if it were an option.
