Potarch Cafe - Banchory - Photo album

Rare find, unique little cafe near banchory. Lovely decor mixture of industrial and country farmhouse.. ... quite noisy when full. Menu choices limited and most things have a fried element. We had posh fish finger sandwich and fries and rarebit. The fish sandwich was served in a box which was ver
What an amazing place serving exceptionally delicious food. Great find and only discovered it due to A93 road closure and diversion. Highly recommend a visit. Great convenient stop for cyclists or walkers on the Deesideway path. Open Thursday to Sunday.
Lovely atmosphere and food all local, and it's nice to see they do thank and list all their suppliers on the menu. Bacon roll with warm sourdough bun is delicious
Lovely, chilled place. Great atmosphere. Friendly service. Yummy food. Fantastic coffee. … and dog friendly!
On our way back from Balmoral, we stopped for a short rest. And what can i say, very cute location, best burger with frensh fries i had in scottland, very friendly staff. Should have stopped here before, there is more royality in this place, than in the castle some miles away. Hold on like that Rega
Lovely staff. Very friendly. Food prices is a bit deer if you are going in with family
Wow. Not been here since it was under new management by the Nichols. And what a wonderful, friendly, cafe it is with superb food coming out of the kitchen. My wife had the posh homemade fish finger butty and I had the pulled pork with dauphinoise potatoes and a perfectly poached egg on top. Proper
Really nice place to have lunch or to stop in for a coffee and cake. Kids play area on site, and a play park just across the road. Nice walks too, or just sit and watch the River Dee flow along. A lovely spot.
Top coffee and cakes with my wee girls. Staff are always friendly and happy. If I had to suggest an improvement it would only be to the kids play area but appreciate it's there regardless. Keep up the great work.
Sat outside for lunch and coffee on a beautiful sunny Sunday. A great setting and the food was superb. The young waitresses that served us were friendly and professional with quick service. Couldn’t fault the place and we shall be back for sure.
A wonderful place to visit in an idyllic location near the river Dee. We stayed in the area for a few days and went for walks around and a visit to Loch Muick, however the cafe would be well worth the trip from Aberdeen for the day or as an excuse to stay nearby. The cafe is by a green with swings f
Venison burger was delicious!
Beautiful little gem of a cafe with absolutely delicious food and friendly staff. Food is exceptional, with a fantastic choice. There is also a children's menu. Highly recommended.
Under new management since the very start of the pandemic, this is now an amazing cafe! The coffee and food is exceptional. Attentive friendly service, relaxed ambience and stylish decor. Highly recommended if you’re in vicinity, and if not, it’s worth making the trip especially!

Beautiful location, delicious food and friendly atmosphere! Try the venison burger it was really good!
Worth visiting and having a relaxing afternoon. Scottish ambiance, friendly service, very tasty food and drinks. Support local. Fabulous walks nearby. I rate the double burger, mint & pea soup, rarebit. Quality white Sav Blanc.
Beautiful food, locally sourced and of impeccable quality. Menu is refreshed regularly, so there's always something new to try. Most (if not all) things are homemade and the bread is worth the trip alone. Can't recommend enough!
Great little cafe with an interesting menu of delicious food.
