The plants were great and better priced then other garden centres. The Bistro, the food was freshly cooked and we got a lot for our money. The gift shop was great and all the staff were friendly and helpful definitely going again x

I just happen to stumble upon the herb centres reviews and I feel I need to write one to offset the balance as I would hate anyone to be put off by any negative review on here. I visit the herb centre on a very regular basis. I come with my family and friends and I am also a childminder so visit really regularly with my tribe! The shop is well stocked, has some lovely gifts and fresh veg too which is yummy. We all enjoy looking round the plants and herbs with the lovely colours and smells and the play area is great with a wooden balance area, a maze and a climbing frame with swings and slide. The children love a walk down to the woods and then back up to the bistro where we all enjoy a drink and a lovely cake or ice cream! The staff are all very friendly and always make an effort to speak. I have been coming for years and can't wait to have many more days here in the spring and summer. X

I visited the Herb Centre with my daughter yesterday (Wednesday) after my last visit some years ago, I was amazed at how the whole place had changed, it's a fantastic place to visit we had a lovely lunch, visited the shop where I bought some lovely wool and altogether had a great time. I live in Witney and was visiting my daughter who lives in Banbury but my partner & I will travel over soon and go for a walk & have a coffee.

A great place, you are able to take your dogs as there are fields for them to have a run, then you can have a coffee or pop into the shop or walk round as there's plenty to see.

Fascinated me for a while. Didn't realise there was a bistro. Good value! Outside seating. Lots of herbs, plants and garden accessories. Gift shop. Plenty of parking. Amazing views of the countryside.

Lovley garden centre with an excellent selection of herbs, fruit trees/plants, wildflowers, and other herbaceous plants. Lots of pots and other garden decor too. Theres a lovley little play area for younger children, some garden examples planted out and a nature walk too! Along with the cafe which serves lovely tasty home cooked food, this place 8s a little gem and its very easy to spend a couple of hours here Highly recommended to anyone in the area. Its not local for us about 45mins away) but we will definitely be visiting again

A return visit - although it must have been pre-pandemic when I was last there. A bit of a re-organisation of the site: the till is now in a hut! As always, a marvellous selection of herbs but also a good selection of compost and general garden plants, and I at last managed to find myself a hat! We only had a cold drink and cake in the courtyard beside the café (the cakes were delicious) so can't comment on the rest of the food. We didn't have time to follow their nature trail today, will have to come back again!

Fantastic place. We took our dog not sure what to expect but the nature trail is delightful and Max dog had a fab time. We had lunch there in the outdoor area and it was superb and value for money. The nursery is well laid out with some unusual plants/herbs. It's also free to get in. Loads of parking.

Lovely café, helpful (very) staff and great plants (lots of varieties of each herp too). Dog friendly and some nice walks. If you want herbs, just go. The bacon and egg cob is another reason to visit, though.

What a lovely place in stunning countryside. Had a super lunch in coffee shop/bistro with good vegan/vegetarian options. Walked around the colourful herb gardens, plenty of other plants and shrubs too. Finished off with a country stroll around the nature trail. Take your dog and a good pair of walking shoes as terrain is hills and meadow affording far reaching views. A little gem of a place.

Really great place to go. Loved the combination of nature trails, with garden centre yet lots if stuff for kids to do. The amount of different types of herbs was brilliant and prices were very reasonable. We didn't use it but the bistro menu looked good. We had a picnic on one of many benches all dotted around with lovely views.

I love it here! We came for some herbs and "accidentally" ended up eating lunch, which was lush. A lovely adventure walk for the toddler, a truly great place for all!

Lovely and tranquil place, the most beautiful setting. Amazing smells as you walk around. All the staff are so very helpful, polite and friendly!!! We had the most amazing slices of home made Victoria sponge and chocolate brownie. Would highly recommend a trip out to visit.

All the plants looking healthy and displayed in tidy clean areas. Staff helpful and friendly. Restaurant menu with plenty options, food delivered to table nicely presented and fresh. Water bowls and walks to use too for dogs. Play area for kids and lots of goods in the gift shop. Worth a visit and I'll definitely recommend and return.
