When you find a pub this good you're almost tempted to keep it to yourself so it doesn't get really busy, but I can't help recommending The Bell as it's simply the best place to eat locally! Every visit has been outstanding, especially my birthday meal which was made so special by a really lovely experience that the whole party enjoyed. Amazing and imaginative food cooked perfectly and with attention given to every aspect of the meal, friendly and genuine staff who clearly love what they do, a nice village setting and ambience, plus thoughtful touches like delicious artisan bread and home-made butter (who would have thought bread and butter could taste so good?!) What more could you ask for?
Today was our 1st visit to The Bell but it definitely won't be our last. Hands down, best Sunday roast I've ever had, the Yorkshire puds tasted just like what mum makes. The pub is small but very comfy and cosy and the service was fantastic and friendly. If you're going for Sunday roast I highly recommend making a reservation. The added bonus to this pub is without doubt, Max the dog, what a sweetheart!
I visited with my wife and baby boy for lunch on Wednesday. Lovely welcome and service from Jen and chef Mike prepared us a few starters - calamari, lamb koftas and the Asian style broth were delicious and so unique for pub grub. We followed this with a lovely beef plate with parsnip. The food was the highlight of our 1 week stay in the area. No room for pudding so we hope to get back to try some more next time we are in the area!
We love the bell! Cozy atmosphere and absolutely delicious food. Jen and Mikey are always accommodating, catering to all dietary requirements (I am vegan and have never had a disappointing meal there). The food is local, seasonal and presented beautifully- you can tell the amount of care that has been taken over it. Good selection of wines, and Max the dog is lovely!
We visited for the first time today and were both most impressed with the Sunday Lunch. Simply superb, my compliments to the chef. The Yorkshire puddings were outstanding!
Friendly service, great food, lovely atmosphere.
And Max the dog is a sweetheart.
There's not a great deal of parking around and it's a relatively small pub so reservations are recommended.
We will definitely be back!
Amazing food, so nice to have delicious food and good portions. Hospitality second to none. Thank you x
Food is outstanding, friendly first class pub. Loved it..
What an amazing night we had celebrating Peter Evans' birthday. Food was out of this world. Friendly staff made the whole evening one not to be forgotten. Thank you to all who made it so special x
friendly staff while I went in for a quick thirst quencher after a 10 mile walk round the area geocaching
First visit and it was amazing! The food, wine, staff and cider were all brilliant!
Simply stunning. The roast Jake and warm nicoise salad was heavenly. As was the jelly and ice cream. We'll be back ! Thank you
This is the village pub we have been wanting! Fabulous food (especially the Asian pork broth), great atmosphere and lovely people
Brilliant pub. Travel weary, driven from Cornwall, really friendly greeting by new landlady and delicious home cooked food, highly recommended.
Beautiful surroundings, relaxed atmosphere, friendly hosting and the most delicious burger and chips. We'll be back for puddings another time!
Superb pub for a meal, friendly staff and a lovely picturesque village setting. Our mains (Haddock and Chips, Burgers and a Lamb Kebab) were cooked absolutely perfectly and well worth the price! Weβd recommend dropping in if youβre passing!
Thank you for an absolutely delicious Mothers Day Sunday Roast. The meal was spot on! Lovely big portions, the beef perfectly cooked and plenty of extra gravy which went down a treat. The staff were fantastic and deserve a mention. Fully recommended and we will definitely be coming back again.
Called in and spent a pleasant evening chatting with the locals and the staff. Very friendly and helpful and it bieng dog friendly was an added bonus.
Food was well prepared and presented and arrived piping hot and plentiful.
Well, it's worth a visit if you're in the area.
10 of us dined at The bell inn Shenington, the staff and the chef was absolutely amazing. The food was the best meal we had in years, the chef went far beyond our expectations. The staff and service was brilliant too, everyone could not do enough for us.
There was 10 of us dining and all our starters came together, main courses came together and not long after, our desserts came together.
This is the way it should be and The Bell Inn does it all.
Thank you all so much for your generosity and when we come back to Shenington Racing / Karting soon, we know where we will be eating every night.
Thanks again from π΄σ §σ ’σ ·σ ¬σ ³σ Ώ us all.

A proper country inn! Walk in and there is a lovely country pub atmosphere. Welcoming staff. The food was sooooo good! Big portions, good quality produce and delicious!
The greatest Sunday dinner I have ever had!
We had an absolutely incredible meal here as a group of 12 and the chef catered for us brilliantly with everything arriving at the same time to an amazing standard including all of our annoying dietary requirement tweaks. Amazing food.
Visited on a friday lunchtime on a whim as had passed the pub a few times and always liked the look of it. Superb food. Seriously cannot fault it. Really appealing menu and it was all delicious. Big portions and fresh ingredients. Friendly staff and the food service was efficient. Fab little place and we will definitely be back!
Fantastic experience, friendly welcome.
Unusual menu, packed full of excellent ideas, and the presentation is just superb. Memorable meals you really won't forget. Lovely atmosphere, great people.

What a quaint village pub...the staff are friendly, the food is awesome with good positions too. I recommend going here...has a rear garden and front seated area for those who like to watch the world go by.
