This place is gorgeous! We went at lunchtime on a Tuesday, but even then the place was at least half full. I do hope this place does well and stays around!
The decor and music are lovely, really calming and not intrusive. I eat Japanese food a lot, but I took my parents who are total beginners, and they found it easy to choose from the menu. My mother avoids MSG, but our waitress was able to tell her exactly what on the menu was okay for her (mostly the sushi).
I had the takoyaki, which were lovely - good balance of crispy and creamy - and the vegetable tempura, which was a good assortment, crisp and not greasy as is quite common.
I hope they do well, I'd love to pop in every time I'm visiting my parents!

So fresh and healthy. It was really yummy and the staff were lovely. Never had Japanese before but the staff and menu made it so simply to order food we loved.
My partner & I have been here twice so far and both times the food has been delicious and the staff are extremely helpful, efficient and their customer service is second to none. Highly recommended. �We will definitely be returning thank you �

Great Atmosphere, Excellent Food, Excellent Service and run by fantastic enthusiastic people. It serves fresh sushi but has much more on the menu for all to enjoy a bit of Japan. So why not give them a try and make it one of your favourites. I will definitely be going again and again.

I was really excited to see a brand new Japanese restaurant open in Banbury, and we booked a table for last night with 2 other big sushi fans. And we loved it all; the presentation, the freshness of the food, the taste sand quality of the dishes, the variety of the menu. If you don't like raw fish, have yakitori skewers, or katsu curry, or noodles, or even Korean bibimbap! Highlights include the Green Dragon Roll; beautiful layers of avocado over an inside-out maki-roll wrapped round crispy prawn katsu, and the dreamy seven spicy squid.
A proper Japanese restaurant has unagi on the menu (which means Yo Sushi! is not a proper Japanese restaurant; in fact, it does not even come close). Zushi is a proper Japanese restaurant, with a chef with skill and verve, and waiting staff who are lovely, relaxed and engaging. We loved absolutely everything we ate, and we loved the experience of dining in this tiny restaurant. Comparable Japanese food in London costs twice as much as it does here, but usually lacks the warmth and charm that we experienced at Zushi.
I sincerely hope you guys succeed; as a local, I will return here again and again. But I can't see this venture failing; everything seems just about perfect. Actually, the beer needs to be a bit colder. Do that, and it will be perfect.

The food is always amazing, we love eating there, a little crowd most of the times due to how good the food is. Not a place to stay after eating as they are always fully booked. But if you're looking for something different, it's an amazing option.

First time here and everything went well. The food was good and the customer service was kind, prompt and respectful. The food was a little under seasoned but overall it was a good experience. I will be returning to try something else soon.

Best Japanese restaurant in the Uk that I’ve eaten at (including London). Everything we ordered was delicious, fresh and high quality. Even the wine was good (not a large selection but what we ordered was great and reasonably priced) service was great. Sushi, sashimi, salmon teriyaki (was sizzling), dumplings, all delicious. Service was great as well, friendly and made some great recommendations for us. If you go on a Sunday evening, the pub across the street has live blues music. They offer takeaway and delivery as well and I’m sure that’s just as delicious!
not an expert on Japanese food, but this was great , easy menu to navigate and friendly helpful staff. delicious meal in a stylish setting.
