Lovely lunch with my wife and kids today. The food arrived pretty quickly, it was tasty.
My daughter demolished a huge piece of chocolate cake. All the staff were wonderful and polite. We will be back again.

Always going here when I am back in Banbury, the food is amazing and the pricing is very reasonable. It's also really cute and a nice place to relax for a while if you are out shopping or in the area. Highly recommend anyone visits!! The staff are also always very pleasant and welcoming :) thanks!

Banbury has a lot of options for someone looking for a quick bite of lunch or a cuppa and a slice of cake. But The Granary is one of my favourite spots and one that could be easily missed if someone didn't tell you about it.
I've been several times - for breakfast and for lunch and was struck each time by what a great value it is. Good food, plenty of it and a very reasonable price. Last visit - a lunch visit - I had the chicken mayo, bacon & pesto panini while my husband had the Granary club. We split an order of chips (because an order of chips is pretty darned sizable). Both sandwiches were delicious and very satisfying. The staff were friendly and welcoming, nothing is any trouble.
Why is it so easy to miss? Because it is on Butcher's Lane (just off the marketplace as well as opening on to the High Street) and the lane can look at first glance as if it's just the back of buildings but no - there's shops and eateries down there. Go on and head down to the Granary. You won't be disappointed
Very lovely cosy restaurant, staff are very helpful. Good range of foods at a good price, the best homemade Banbury cakes in the whole of Banbury.
It's tucked away behind the main street but well worth finding out.

Brilliant cosy cafe. Really warm and friendly staff. Lovely homemade food at very reasonable prices. I'd recommend both breakfast and lunches.
