First visit, definitely will not be the last friendly welcome, very attentive staff, wide and varied food choice, freshly cooked, piping hot, quick service, very tasty food, just the right amount of portions.
Visited the restaurant on a Friday night, where they had a guest female singer. Lady Val B, she was very good, varied selection of music across the genres. Very entertaining,

This restaurant takes such pride in their food and service. I went here with my friend and we had a great experience and the food was amazing! It was that good, I booked another table the week after with my partner.

Very good very nice. Went on Tuesday for the Tuesday banquet for £13.95 each (me mrs and little one) and all enjoyed throughly! Would definitely recommend. Setting is lovely as well with the lights and cleanliness of the place.
Very good food but service was a bit slow considering it was banquet night there only seemed to be one guy taking and delivering orders

Always a lovely meal at Purple Mango. The service is personal and professional and the range of authentic food is exceptionally good, especially the selection of house specials which have the chef's extra touch👌🏻. The restaurant has a relaxed vibe and the staff cater to your individual needs, especially waiter 007 (if you know, you know 😉). We have dined here for 10 years now and see no reason to go anywhere else. Eating in or takeaway; I'd wholly recommend.

Always someone nearby to ask how things are, get drinks etc. As I said in my opening statement, always the best service here.

Lovely restaurant. My girlfriend and I went here for a meal and we asked for some samples of all kinds of things. For £25 for us both we got two variety platters with meat and veg selections. They switched out of them out when we asked them too, and we're very attentive. The food was all cooked to perfection and we were both stuffed when we'd finished polishing it all off. The staff we helpful and friendly, the place felt clean and sophisticated. I'd really recommend it.

Purple Mango was a spontaneous choice on a weekend away. When we arrived the table was set up perfectly and everything was set to a very high standard. We were given some poppadoms with fantastic dips as an appetiser whilst we picked our food, and was told not to rush which was a nice touch.
My partner ordered the Meat Thali (good bang for buck as you get a lot on your plate, a little bit of everything - good if you’re indecisive) and I went for the Chicken Rogan Josh. These were the best Indian dishes we have ever eaten in a Restaurant, and take-away alike. The meat was cooked to perfection in both dishes, the sauce was amazing - you could taste everything that went in to make the dish. Both rice and the Naan breads were perfect too. Whilst we ate the staff approached us numerous times to ask whether everything was going okay which was nice of them.
Purple Mango is a fantastic place, the menu is very comprehensive and the staff are extremely welcoming and kind. I would recommend this Indian to anyone who comes to Banbury and surrounding areas for time away, or if they are just passing by.

A very enjoyable meal. Food was superb and my Railway Mutton Curry was sublime, perfect depth of flavour combined with brilliant spices.
The staff was very attentive, pleasant, helpful and friendly.

We ordered from here for the first time today after several positive recommendations. There was an initial miscommunication but was honoured by the restaurant and we're so glad it was. The food was delicious, plentiful and flavoursome. We order Indian cuisine often and are particular with the quality of our dishes and this didn't disappoint. Thank you to all of the staff for delivering so promptly and for fulfilling our order. We look forward to dining in and getting the full experience and of course ordering a takeaway treat again.
In this corner of the world visiting family & to watch the Formula 1 over the weekend we were treated to a meal at the Purple Mango.
Firstly the decor inside is beautiful done and even the toilets made you feel like you were in a palace!
We were there for the Thursday banquet, in which you get a starter, main, side dish & a naan for under £13! Trust me they don't make the portions smaller just because it's part of a deal either!
The food was well cooked, seasoned & very tasty! Myself & the others left feeling very full & satisfied.
Apparently they do a buffet on a Sunday that is more than worth the money you pay for it so when we're in the area again we will definitely be coming again!
